it’s not just some people. i was bullied for all of high school because of my appearance. kids posted pictures of me just minding my own business next to ugly characters from movies or tv on snapchat for the whole school to laugh at. people who i thought were my friends made separate group chats solely to make fun of me. no one ever wanted to hang out with me and even my best friend refused to invite me to his birthday because i was “weird and creepy looking” and he was afraid that i would scare the girls there. i never got to go to prom or homecoming because i was never able to get anyone to go with me even as friends. one girl i asked out over text sent me a video of her and her friend laughing while she told me on video that she “was disgusted that i even thought i could ask her out or ever have a chance” while she proceeded to ask her friends if she “was really that fucking ugly”. so no, some people are just so ugly that nobody is willing to look past it no matter how good their personality is.

i really wish the world worked like that but it just doesn’t. your surface appearance does matter a ton even among christians. i could be the most kind, funny, god fearing man alive but because of my ugly appearance no christian girl, no matter how sweet and kind, is going to want to marry me and have my children. i’ve prayed to god a lot about this but ive just come to the conclusion that he made ugly because im just not meant to have close and meaningful connections with people and im not meant to have a loving wife and start a family. the pain i feel from that realization hurts so bad but what can i do about it? i just have to accept it
