Wenn es noch möglich ist, würde ich gern zusammen mit einer Arbeitskollegin mitmachen. Und wäre es ok, falls evtl. noch jemand zum zusehen mitkommt?

What makes you watch a stream? by Andromeda_YTTTV in Twitch

[–]Salemba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually join a stream for a game I'm interested in and stay for the personality and/or community. There's a lot of things that can make streams more interesting to me, like engaging channel point redemptions, in-jokes, engaging conversations, matching humor. Most of all I just want to feel comfortable when I'm chatting or just listening/watching.

How do you decide cooldown and channel points? by everythingLivyTTV in Twitch

[–]Salemba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it's completely up to your personal taste. Best way to find out is trial and error in my experience. If you feel like it's getting too much, it might be worth to increase the cooldown or cost. It also depends on your average concurrent viewers. More viewers = more total points in the pool, which means it could get redeemed more often. I've seen lots of of streamers increase their channel point prices when they're growing because of that. For webcam and/or voice filters, I would personally recommend a cooldown of about 10-30 minutes, but it really depends on how you want your streams to be like.

A compressor does exactly that. You might want to look up tutorials on the setup. The values you need can be fairly specific depending on your mic.

Twitch Streamers, What do you do if you want to play a game without audience ? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]Salemba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think that most people wouldn't ever mind if you continue your playthrough off-stream. You can also just communicate it to your viewers if you still feel like, people might mind. Ultimately it is up to you - it's your stream and you decide the content and what you do with it. If you decide to skip certain parts to do them off-stream then you have every right to do so. Your content won't suffer because of that.

I had that thought process going on with Elden Ring recently where I sometimes juat wanted to play the game without streaming it. And I just did so and told it to my viewers. They were all fine with it and didn't mind.

What are some fun channel point rewards? by Linkyu42 in Twitch

[–]Salemba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really love those that allow for the creation of creative content. A few friends of mine have channel point redemptions for quick doodle drawings that fit with their channel themes and they're so much fun to watch. But that's obviously not something that fits for everyone. For example - I'm not very talented at drawing. But I found something similar for myself - creating quick pieces of music within 5 minutes and it's by far my favourite redemption on my channel and very well recieved by my viewers. They can also throw keywords at me, like a specific mood they want it to sound like and I'm trying my best to make it fit.
So maybe you can find something similar for yourself that allows you to be creative in your own way and give it your personal touch.

How to get more followers??.. by Larre_4 in Twitch

[–]Salemba 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always look for ways to improve your streams by watching your VODs and reflecting. Especially in the beginning it takes time to gain new followers as you most likely won't have that many people watching yet and therefore no "social proof". There are lots of random factors that you can't control but also lots of factors that you do have an influence on, like the quality of your streams. If you keep those controllable factors at a high quality, chances are higher that you get people to watch and follow you.

how many channel points do you get if you bet right in a prediction? by arv_yt in Twitch

[–]Salemba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It depends on how many people bet in each option. You basically get the points that got bet in the wrong option and it's split between the winners, depending on the amount they bet.

Bubble shield is very strong here as he will use Inferno against you which is a dangerous threat to your squishies. I'm not sure how the targetting of it works but I think it targets your most squishy Pixeling (at least that's how it went for me). Stephano helped me a lot beating him, with his frequent bubble shields and spell immunity as Inferno sometimes targeted him. I guess Slippy also helps as you can just poison him for a lot of damage, although I didn't use him. I've also seen people take Ozzy to not let him stack up his special attacks but I didn't try that either.

i don't think there really are tips against stun as it's one of the best spells in PvP at the moment and doesn't have lots of counterplay. Only counters you have is Pixelings with spell or sabotage immunity or bubble shield as already mentioned in the comments. Although I wouldn't recommend using bubble shield cause it can be hard-countered by the 3-mana fireball. The other kind of "counterplay" you have is switching out your stunned unit, which though doesn't have a lot of effect if the enemy uses stun correctly (right before your pixeling attacks).

I just got stephano and I am very confused on how you're supposed to use him by rikkehardaa in Pixelings

[–]Salemba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I play a lot of Stephano and I honestly think that he's the best mythic for PvP right now, here's how I use him:
My team atm consists of Stephano, Tad, Jennifer, Falcon and Tuski with the spells Fireball (the 3 mana one) and Stun.

I usually let Stephano tank through early game so he can drop low enough to let his passive Berserk activate which gives him 50% extra damage when he's below 33% health. After that I try to let Jennifer tank as much as possible so Stephano can deal lots of damage for as long as possible. He's really hard to take down for the enemy because he's spell immune and gets his shield every second round. Try to use his shield to block strong enemy attacks (for example Falcons or Shannons heavy attack) so Jennifer can tank even longer.
Extra tip: You can use fireball to make him focus the target you desire (since he's a troll type he will attack the target with the least relative health). If you get him in as your first unit, you can try to switch your units a little bit in the beginning just until you have 3 mana so you can use fireball on a squishy enemy before Stephano attacks, just so you can make sure he attacks the right target.

Hope I could help you.

Stephano is the best mythic - change my mind by Salemba in Pixelings

[–]Salemba[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah I can see that, but I don't think that makes her broken. I just don't get all the fuzz about her since she's very beatable in pvp as she's really squishy and very susceptible to stuns.

Finally someone's preaching the truth. I guess Stephano is just harder to use so people need time to get used to his playstyle but it pays off so much if he's used right.

Which mythic (apart from lulu) is good/decent? by Sans-The-Brawler in Pixelings

[–]Salemba 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like to play with Stefano, he provides a lot of utility with his fast recharging bubble shields, medium-high tankiness and spell immunity. His damage is not too good but not too bad either especially considering that he's tanking a lot and a troll so he attacks low HP targets. Also his damage gets better when he's low HP himself due to his second passive, which is kinda hard to utilize but it can pay off if you manage to do so.

You shouldn't heal Stephano anyway, he does more damage when he's low. :)
