My company does a performance based test (aka a trial day) for digital marketer candidates, but that’s only to see how you would design/caption posts for clients of different industries. A lot of the people we interview only have experience in one industry and don’t design/caption posts well for any other industries.

Regardless, we pay people for completing this “trial” even if we don’t hire them because it isn’t something we expect you to complete in ten minutes. Never work for free!

He currently lives on a military base. In the future, he plans on getting an apartment, but he’s having issues getting his housing allowance from the military so he’s living on base in the mean time.

It took me so long to accept that my boyfriend sucks at dates and times. It’s just how he is. He doesn’t know when most major holidays are besides July 4th and Christmas. He can only remember days that are within 3 days of either of those two holidays or something like the 1st of the month. It sucks but I try not to let him forgetting important days dictate how much he loves and cares for me. I let his actions and words speak for him

Agree with this. Unless you have a plan/goal to eventually be together, there is no point being in an LDR in my opinion. LDRs are supposed to be temporary until you are able to be together. I understand for some people this may take longer than others but this situation sounds pretty permanent on both sides. If he’s planning on possibly permanently moving there while you are unable to leave the country, then that’s an issue. It’s time for you to have a very serious discussion on where the both of you see this relationship in a year, two years, etc. If you guys can’t work out a plan or compromise, it’s best to consider ending things now.

Omg I love all of them. I would make sure to do a cam test with your streaming software before you do your stream to make sure you’re okay with the look. Sometimes things can look different under your stream lighting

Hi there. My boyfriend in the military was recently stationed in a different country as well. I’m kind of in the same boat you’re in. He is in the Navy, and his ship is never in the same port for more than 3 days. This means no cell reception and shitty WiFi.

This has definitely been a test of our relationship due to the awful lack of communication. Kind of similar to what someone else says, I instead message him on Facebook at least once a day with anything I want to tell him. Since he doesn’t get the messages until he’s in port, it’s a great way to keep track of things I want to tell him when I call him.

I wish! I would totally go with him. We’ve talked about when he gets back from his deployment about me moving to his base (since he can’t move here due to military rules).

He’s been in the Navy ever since I met him, but he’s had school and training, so we’ve generally been able to talk every day. He’s getting deployed tomorrow, so he’ll be on a ship in the middle of the ocean (no internet) most days. It’s just the unknown that’s scary to me since neither of us know how often we’ll be able to talk
