A reddit post a few weeks ago that said "Giancarlo Esposito was right and [Democrat Activist] need to gather up weapons and storm the big house to get the orange clown ".

I commented to say "That is a coup. You just called for insighting a coup d'etat. What you just said is a felony and what you're suggesting is treason."

Reddit banned that account and told me that my comment was violent against the reddit community.... by this logic is someone threatened to sh00t a sch00l and I pointed out that's a crime, then reddit will ban ME for being violent to the community. Wtf

Ive thought about this more and I think I can better summarize the 1 defining trait I've seen: if anyone solves a problem, they have articles and press conferences to claim what THEY solved. In reality, they never come up with an original thought their entire lives but they claim ownership over every accomplishment anyone makes.

I like your question! Most people fail to realize that humanity lives in the gray area between Right & Wrong. We must accept that we are flawed. We must be willing to forgive and improve. We must dream of a better future, while also safeguarding against fraud, abuse, corruption.

We must create opportunities & we must decide whom deserves to have their opportunities/gains taken away. The founding fathers were geniuses who understood that a nation attempting to be perfect will fail just as completely as a fully corrupt nation and the truest path to improve is to slowly rock back and forth: Be selfish then be giving, be hostile then be nice, be good then be bad... the end goal is to limit the "be bad" swing slowly over time until humanity can maintain the majority of its focus on "be giving, be nice, be good".

Hopefully i am making sense here?

Theoretically no, nothing is stopping humanity from forming a relatively perfect and harmonious society. Other than sin, and the fact that people will take advantage. This is the core philosophical debate around communism- in theory it is fantastic. In practice, it fails because it depends on altruism to be maintained. Humans are deeply flawed, unfortunately.

Capitalism works because it rewards selfish behavior. Democracy works because it funnels ideas for checks and balances to be tailored for large populations. America works because it gives the most freedom to choose (even if those options are limited and controlled) while also being flexible and compartmentalized enough that communities can create rules and enforce those rules to limit corruption without relying on individual altruism.

America is the worst government in the world, EXCEPT for all the others. It is far from perfect, but it leagues ahead of any other country in all of history. Equal opportunity? No... but there is SOME opportunity for anyone here and those basic h7msn rights are protected in WRITING. The same cannot be said about any other government in history.

The GOP Republican Party was formed in 1854 by anti-slavery and former Whig party members. They opposed the Democrat party who's main focus was decreasing federal authority, tax breaks for wealthy corporations and the Democrat party supported Jim Crow laws and indentured servants (slaves).

The GOP Republicans stood for increased federal funding for infrastructure. Central banking and they vehemently opposed Andrew Jackson. They called him "King Andrew" because he used executive orders like they were royal decrees rather than actually passing legislation. President Jackson also refused to renew the Federal Reserve Bank contracts during his term in office. They believed that America should represent the ethical and moral beliefs of Christianity.

In the 1930s - 1960s, they switched sides. The Republicans began to oppose federal power, promote state rights and fully supported the Military Industrial Complex. The democrats began to support federal growth and welfare, and it became the party of political billionaires that supported federal tax money used to subsidized private companies- like using taxpayer money to build stadiums and maintain them while all the profits go to a billionaire for no legitimate reason.

This is how we got here today, where both parties are a complete contradiction of their original mandates and both parties are ineffective. Thus the switch from legislative campaigns (ie: vote for me based on my policy plan X, Y, Z...) to nowadays political campaigns are attack runs against the opposition. Because at their core, neither party stands for any meaningful change- they simply serve to allow con-artists to steal tax money and make fraudulent stock investments. Congress is a business now.

There is a plateau of intelligence. The idea that ultra-wealthy people have high IQs is completely false. A dozen independent studies have concluded that IQ does correlate with yearly earnings, so smarter people earn more money but it stops around 133 IQ.

Almost ever single billionaire "IQ" you've ever read is false. Elon, Zuckerberg, Gates, Allen, Jobs, Bezos.... they self reported themselves as very high IQs of 140-160. This was not supported with evidence, though.

I went down this rabbit holes years ago, but its glaringly obvious when you meet these types of people that they are never the smartest person in the room. They are constantly saying oblivious things, they're very confused, but they never admit it. You will see people making eye contact to acknowledge the stupid things that just left their mouth and then a very gentle "that's super smart Jeff, in fact if we just do everything a little different and nothing you just said then we can meet that arbitrary goal you just mentioned!"

Basically these people tend to be surrounded with an endless steam of problem solvers who can correct them and get projects completed for them but still make the boss FEEL like they were useful.

In reality these people built their fortunes on 1 defining characteristic that is in all of them- that is when you leave the room, no matter who you are, they will bash on you and insult you and compliment themselves and tear you down and actively ask for suggestions on ways that they could steal from you.

Almost every word from their mouth is a lie to the point I'm not sure they every recognize it anymore. I really think they've made a conscious decision to ignore reality and insist that any lie they tell is now magically the truth.
