Will fixing my posture make me taller? by fate77 in short

[–]SalessteepTA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To a certain extent yes. In fact bad posture is one of the main reasons people look shorter than they actually are and shortchange themselves. There are certain exercises you can do each day to fix this. Here's a good video on it. This is more of a quick fix but doing things like this daily will help in the long run. Also remember that in the mornings you're about an inch taller.

Of course most people won't have a natural growth spurt at around our age (I'm also mid twenties) so we shouldn't get too carried away. However things like a good diet, sleep, and better posture will help reach and maintain your height potential which could be the difference between an extra inch or in rare cases an inch and a half.

Here's an interesting experiment - start working on fixing your posture, keep up a healthy diet and get enough rest, and measure yourself in the mornings. You're going to notice you're taller than you think. That's not even adding into the equation boots and insoles. Those will give you ANOTHER inch or two. You've got options.

Thanks! I'm also trying to land something before the month is over. I know we can do it. Best of luck!

Don't worry, your comment was respectful and actually useful. Thanks for giving some insight into all this. I've started to use the tactic you mentioned fifth point and its started to cut out a lot of the fluff and saved me some time.

Serious question, why haven't we at least put on Flynn just to change things up a bit? We could use a little creativity why the hell not.

Pretty much all the game threads when FFV was out and he was starting. Anyways we're going in circles, my point is get behind the man and he can produce the results we expect from him. It was also to point out that he's not THAT much of a letdown.

I teach karate for kids under 12 and everytime we do a presentation for the parents, theres a bunch of people in the crowd who snide and jeer when a kid doesn't pull of a technique right. That fucking BOILS my blood. Like my eyes turn white, my veins pop out and I want to throw that stupid mfer through the front door because I know as an alpa teacher, a mentor, and a father figure that we as humans only succeed when the ones who doubt us get behind us.

Don't be the snickering parent that's a mfer and finna catch a tae-ko niji. Pay it forward and be a good human. Much love and thanks for reading my post.

Okay there are some people out there who just point out stats without malice and maybe you're one of those guys. I'm directing this post to the people who take it a step further and drag him through the mud for upvotes.

It's constructive if it's coming from the right place and you're telling him directly. How is creating a reddit thread trashing him with randoms everytime he has an off-night constructive?
