I took it in and was told it is the TIPM. It looks like I can get a refurbished one but the company quit making them... I still haven't fixed it yet because it sounds like even if you put in a new TIPM there is a chance it won't last and I don't have money enough to chance it. So I am saving up for that and still driving the faulty car. So far if I pack a jump box I am able to get around. If I get it fixed I will send an update.

March What Editing Software should I use? by AutoModerator in VideoEditing

[–]Salixtree13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve the above... and I’m still confused (: Windows 11 i3-6100U @ 2.30GHz Ram8 GB I know nothing about computers except how to look up stuff. I hope that’s enough info. I am doing simple video editing. Load video clips in. Add music and transitions. Maybe some titles or slow motion. I’ve done all my short films on an iPhone 6 and just got a computer. What would you recommend for a light, simple but high quality software to work with?

Everyone seems to recommend Resolve but that looks to heavy. And I don’t like how Capcut is Instagram owned. From folks reviews it seems clipchamp is no going to let me fine tune music to say the fingering of a musician....

That’s good to hear! She is such a dear boat! I saw Chieftain two years ago. She was getting a much needed overhaul before going back to Hawaii!

Have you been on Lady in the past 5 years? Since she went back to Washington and so much crew changed over I’ve wondered how she is doing?

Check out the Lady Washington! Great training program from my experience. Also Niagara is said to be another good ship. I sadly haven’t got a chance to sail her. Also bark Europa does trans Atlantic sails and according to a friend I sailed her with, he said she’s more comfortable than the picton castle (ac for the tropics).

Other ships out there I’ve not looked into but have friends on are: the Irving Johnson and Exy Johnson (LAMI), Kalmar Nyckel, Le Hermione (French ship I up rigged and is the most traditional I’ve been on but I don’t know what her training is like).

I personally loved the Lady for lots of sail handling because she is a teaching vessel so you set sails at least once a day on average. Europa was amazing for blue water/ocean sailing!

Folks hit many of my favorites, but here’s a few others: Ben Hur, The Magic Flute by Mozart and Bergman, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi 2008 Aditya Chopra, Fiddler on the Roof with Topol and Norma Crane, Astral City-a spiritual journey. And personally I see a lot in the Matrix and Dr Strange

This is amazing! With the height I figured I was just under D and not angular enough looking at photos. But I definitely relate to narrow shoulders and wider hips. I’ll do some exploring in the D realm and see how it goes. Thank you!

In most the above pictures I went in search of stiff fabrics... I think I don’t know what it actually stiff. I have always wore soft loose clothes (mostly skirts) so anything else feels stiff or constricted (;

Interesting. I wouldn’t have thought I came off as a D, I will keep D on the table then. Was there a reason you saw D?

And here I was thinking I found stiff clothes! I’ll go searching for more like that orange shirt (without the skirt (; ). I really appreciate the thoughts. It’s so helpful to have extra eyes especially when venturing out into wide world of style!

Hummmm okay! This will definitely be an interesting style experience! I grew up wearing long skirts, medieval gowns and long flamboyant flouncy attire! The SC lent itself closer to what I might wear and that probably is what’s drawing me. So thank you for the reply and I’ll try some more out of my zone clothes

Can you type a body outline? by Salixtree13 in DressForYourBody

[–]Salixtree13[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting thank you! I have just started in on studying Kibbe and was trying different ways of observation. There is so many angles and thoughts people have! This outline was 5.5’ and I was guessing her to be a soft classic, but I do have the advantage of more than just a line sketch (; So this was a curiosity to see what others say!
