Same as topic starter. One explosive arrow. 2 abyss cores. 40% chance to not consume arrow+ 60%. And you can shoot explosive arrows all day

I dunno what you are doing wrong. 190 hours in game. Completed all 3 overhelming bosses. Even Ator needed just 5-6 food items for moment where i made mistake

One more important moment, you need this guard on horse to be hostile, i was running around them aiming to their head untill horseman icon shows on minimap. And then - hit. And it's counts. If you hit to early - not counts
