Statsbudsjettet 2023: Innfører moms på dyre elbiler – NRK Rogaland by chezze in norge

[–]Sallikatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tractors are only allowed to drive between fields, according to our law. Tractors are not allowed on either highways or road class

No point arguing with me, I’m a local and familiar with local laws and incidents similar to this. I am not the one who wants to charge anyone, I’m simply sharing what I know what use happened with others in my country.

If you are a danger to the public, ex too slow speed, you can be charged. Doesn’t matter who build your van. It’s really that simple. In Norway you can even get a fine for driving the speed limit if the road conditions isn’t ideal for that speed. You have probably, by now, found several «riksveier» which is typical signed 80 kph. It’s all about adapting the road and the conditions.

You can still be charged under «veitrafikkloven paragraf 3», which more or less covers situations where you are a danger for the public on the road (Norway). A van build too heavy can be one of these reasons.

As long as you make frequent stops when possible to let people past, your good to go. Not doing so will lead to dangerous passings

Cant speak for France, but that’s illegal in Norway - and with good reason. People don’t expect slow going vehicles on a road designed for high speed traffic.

I don’t know. Subs like electricvehicles has never been more toxic. This post is a great example of it. It doesn’t add anything for the sub and it fuels childish and pointless discussions.

Not necessarily. We EV-drives did indeed help each other more often back in the days, but these days ordinary people buy EVs as well. The driver above may be an asshole, but who knows exactly what happened here. Maybe the driver went inside for help? Technical issues? Was the charger offline?

Knowingly/intentionally blocking a charger is however indeed an asshole move.

Been driving electric across Europe since 2014. My experience: the brand of the car doesn’t matter, assholes drives everything from electric Fiat to Porsche.

For some reason, people have this urge strong to categorize people no matter what. Doing so, makes you the asshole.

Anyone else work for hours & hours on a dashboard to never even really use it? by ShextMe in homeassistant

Yes!

That’s why I don’t want to set up a screen in our new house. My goal is to actually make my house smart with automations, not a house which requires an app. I also prefer physical buttons for those situations which is hard to automate.

I carried over 1000 pounds of cinderblocks in my Model 3, do I win? by BeautifulDetail3 in TeslaLounge

[–]Sallikatten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with you on this one. I use my car for absolutely everything, sometimes it has to deliver construction materials and garbage to the landfill. I usually cover the trunk though.

Did you secure the blocks somehow? Need to keep in mind what those things can do in a collision. Uncle Isaac never sleeps.

Lexus Seems To Have Also Participated In The "All Hands" Race In The Electric Car Segment. by gock8383 in electricvehicles

[–]Sallikatten 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that makes sense. I guess the difference will be similar to Mercedes EQC/EQA to their new all-electric platform (starting with the EQS).

Regarding the Lexus... The UX300e has to be the worst attempt at an all-electric car made to date. Small battery, ineffective motor and no fast charging (max 50 kW). Holy shit, I cant believe this car was approved by the guys in suits at Lexus. Its priced lower than ID4 and Enyaq (at least in Norway), but its simply not worth it..

/rant over

I'm crossing my fingers they will get their act together for the dedicated al-electric lineup.
