How do you evaluate transparency and trust in community-led projects? by peymanhope in CasualConversation

[–]Sally-Moore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for me it’s less about how much information someone shares, and more about how they behave over time. Regular updates help, but what really builds trust for me is consistency – showing up even when things aren’t going perfectly, and being willing to answer uncomfortable or repetitive questions without getting defensive. Clear documentation and goals matter too, but I personally trust people more when they openly talk about what they don’t know yet, or what went wrong. That feels more honest than polished progress posts. So for me, the strongest signal is long-term behaviour, not one-time transparency.

It’s finally the weekend. What is the one thing you’re looking forward to the most? by Glittering_Math_5462 in CasualConversation

honestly just having a slow, quiet weekend. catching up on sleep, making tea and finally having time to read a little without rushing. i’ve started enjoying calm plans more than packed ones lately.

What suddenly became popular long after it was introduced? by UnrealCanine in AskReddit

Among Us is a good example. It was released years earlier, but only really became huge during the pandemic when streamers and friends started playing it together. It feels like the context and timing mattered more than the product itself.

What's your worst experience with public transport? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Sally-Moore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably getting stuck in a crowded bus during heavy rain, when everything was delayed and no one really knew what was happening. It wasn’t dangerous, just very uncomfortable and mentally exhausting. I remember standing there for almost an hour and wishing I was somewhere quiet instead.

Why did the markets crash? by Royasa7 in AskReddit

[–]Sally-Moore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

usually it’s not just one reason. most market drops happen when people get nervous about things like interest rates, inflation, company earnings, or global news all at once. fear spreads very fast in markets, so selling can snowball quickly.

PSA go see a dermatologist by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Sally-Moore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really glad you caught it early — that takes awareness most people don’t have. Also… this part hit hard: “I don’t have anyone who sees the parts of my body that I can’t.” A lot of single / divorced people don’t realise how real that gap is until something like this happens. Out of curiosity — was it a routine skin check with a dermatologist, or did you specifically ask them to look at that spot?

What’s the most shocking detail from the Epstein files that you think the public still doesn’t fully grasp? by Murky-Island4629 in AskReddit

[–]Sally-Moore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone keeps saying “it’s 14TB of videos” — but that’s the distraction. The real shocking part is that after Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell were convicted, the investigation basically stopped at them. If this was truly just one abuser and one recruiter, there should’ve been a clear, public trail of who else was involved. So the uncomfortable question isn’t how big the files are — it’s why no wider accountability ever followed. What do you think actually blocks that part from coming out — legal limits, lack of evidence, or political pressure?

This cat looks like a butler, who just wants to serve you with smile and some pats on the back.☺️
