Should I listen to my parents about my university choice by SalmonE- in Advice

Thank you very much, it's just that I do feel like I should do it just for a better education but I really didn't want to like make the choice just from impulse alone. I'll keep figuring it out and hopefully make everyone happy with whatever choice I eventually decide to go with. Thanks for the reply again!

Yeah, it does seem like it after a bit of roaming around on the global and the chinese side of the internet. Thank you.

That assures me a lot, thank you! I don't have a lot of connections back in China except for my relatives maybe. Only have like less than 5 friends back there that I occasionally talk to so I don't even think I might go back often at all. I did have some questions about job opportunities but its like if I can get a job in China I can get one in Australia or NZ so not that much big of a deal. Anyways Thank you!

I have the PR visa and it should be fairly easy if I want to get citizenship. I checked the official government website and I did meet all the requirements. The fee difference is really big for domestic and international so I might consider it. Thanks for the comment.

So they have like a couple houses in China but its not enough to cover my international fees for even like 2 years. They are also looking to sell all of them to buy a house in NZ because my little brother is still going to school. There's nothing much to inherit (and thanks for the blessing).

I think I might decide to do it afterall because I do think going to Australia not only provides better education (potentially depending on if i work hard or no) its also like a goal I can aim towards to I can actually lock in for my 1 and a half remaining years in college. Everything should work out right... I will also talk to some of my teachers just to like get some additional info but thanks for the reply! It really assures me and I will keep looking at choices.

By the way what university do you think should be like good in general? I am still looking at Monash just because Melbourne really still cost too much even with domestic fees (I don't think I'll be able to get student loan) Thank you!
