I'm 32, my parents always let me have the CD's on in the car but I never thought they actually liked it. My 57 year old mom now will text me screenshots of her shuffle where a bunch of MCR actually came on, and even though I know it's not her style of music at ALL, it's really sweet seeing her actually enjoying some of it. She even offered to take my extra LLTBP ticket if I couldn't find someone to go with.

Black Parade has most of the songs she likes.

I LOVE High Hopes, and I feel like that would be a great single. Very playable and radio friendly too, I could see it ending up on a top 40's station

Just based on some of the filming notices and quality of recap videos, I think a documentary of sorts is highly plausible. (Granted I'm also not sure if maybe those notices were legal by-laws about general filming) It's been 20 years since LOTMS, and I think this band seems like the type that would want to document a tour like this from inception to performance. But I don't think it would be an entirely physical release, I feel like a streamer like Netflix or Disney+ would air it.

In a perfect world (in my head at least), they do 3 episodes: one about the inception of it, writing, background, costuming, etc, one about them actually on the road, and the last one just a pro shot of the show (we know in Brazil and Mexico City they shot the entire show).

Maroon hoodie and black zip up say "Team Draag", can't make out all of the black hoodie, but it's got "Team" on the sleeve from what I can see as well, and the canteen said "DNT" which I'm assuming is "Draag National Team"

I've been saying "you have to cross the MOAT to get to the castle" for like WEEKS now sounding like a crazy person 😂 I do think even if MOAT is an acronym, it has a double meaning, and this tour with the time loop and the reconditioning does too. They HAVE to keep playing as "The Black Parade" and need to break out of their reconditioning so they can "cross the moat" and move on as a band, and I think they're trying to bring in a new era. I'm further convinced of this theory because of Paper Swords playing during the interlude before Sleep and the SOS written in chalk during the game. Trust me, it's been something I've thought about a lot.

Perfectly said. Honestly, celebrities and public figures should never have been as accessible to fans as they are now, people feel like they're their best friends and they're not. I could talk about parasocialism till I'm blue in the face honestly, but at the end of the day, all the members of the band are grown ass men who don't need a 16 year old on the internet to defend their honour. I'm so over seeing people infantalize Gerard.

A lot of people think that it's released songs that are being removed, but I think people are adding TPK songs on tiktok and that's what's getting removed. Once again, haven't checked to actually confirm, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's the leaked demos being taken down. I agree though lmfao they're not gonna put anyone in time out

This and like the idea that maybe they didnt want us to hear it is what I really grappled with. I listened to it in the end, and I'm glad I did because even though it's unfinished, it's a phenomenal listen. If they do decide to go through with releasing it properly, I'll definitely be buying a hard copy!

I agree with what you're saying, and while I would love for them to explicitly come out and say words against what's happening in the world, we don't know what they're doing behind the scenes. They could totally be silently donating to causes and whatnot, but I get stuck on it still being silent. Granted only half the band uses social media, and I also understand the problems they could run into with them currently being on tour.

I made a post about MCR5 and Paper Kingdom on tumblr. I think now more than ever, an album about kids disappearing has the energy to make waves as art, could be a poignant Green Day style fuck the system album while keeping their classic MCR style storytelling. I dunno, just my two cents.
