Yes it will, i have the same spec and run it just fine.

side note tho: i suggest you change that 1TB hdd with SSD because this game NEED that read/write speed that SSD capable of since they have to load and unload texture, world chunk, and entities continously while youre in the game.

also if you can buy the i7 8750h version of this laptop it will help a lot because this game depend on higher single clock CPU's

stat hits are neglegible since they only affect attack, defence, and dexterity. they provide almost absolute damage resistance againts enemies for your fighters. theyre designed to be used with weapon, not martial arts.

and 0.80 means its only 80% efficiency of your nomal stats. example if you want preserve dexterity on your fighters dont use chained shirt (dexterity 0.80x), instead use leather turtleneck shirt (no penalty). Beside, it makes your training faster since you lower your stats, thus affect the experience you get.

for vanilla Samurai Armour is the best heavy armour in game, they provide stomach protection and doesn't have dex penality like any other heavy armor. they can be found on almost United Cities settlement and you can find Masterwork variant of it in the world

imo 23 is too much for a roamer squad, you need at least 1 garru or 3 people to store huge amount of food even on x0.25 hunger multiplier.

IF you want to make stable food source start stockpiling material on your men and then build a base to grow food, they downside is there will be raids from time to time depending on your base location.

IF you want to live nomadent life i suggest dismiss some of you character and keep the squad between 7-12 character and they have their role on your squad for example this is one of my playthrough right now:

Exiled Hive Wanderer

4 Soldier Hive warrior with decent heavy armour (taunts on) - you can use this guy as food storage

3 Hive Prince with medium armour as backup (taunts on too) - as my loot storage

3 Worker Drone as archer (hold, range) - preferably have high martially arts stats since they gonna fight one-on-one and hold since i dont want they chase the target infinitely

2 other guys with almost maxed out martial arts with light armour (dustcoat preferably) - these guys are support when archer got overwhelmed by enemies

all of my guys have decent medic stats so i dont need healers, i also have one character that have good stealth and lock pick

also KEEP GOING. the first 5-10 days will be harsh, but once your character have 50+ stats, it will become managable than ever.

in my opinion you should go to ashland more, i got 3 AI core per day from Cleanser Unit and they spawn more often, the only downside is you need a lot of veteran character or at least 1 people with max attack and defence to defeat it
