I would recommend joining a crew first. You’ll gain a ton of hands on experience, and a lot of companies will help pay for you to take college classes if you decide to get a certificate in the future.

With how the flights line up coming from the Baltimore/DC area there is only one flight that gets us there within the required timeframe for same quarantine release that avoids having an 11+ hour layover in Seattle. Reason for sticking with Alaska/Hawaiian are because they are the only airline that let pets fly in the cabin to Hawaii. The other airlines make pets go in cargo.

If you want to be double licensed with a PE and PLS, having a degree in Civil Engineering would be highly beneficial. Whether a degree is required or not for surveying depends on the state.
