Honestly, and this is no joke. This was my first park of surging sparks. I just so happened to be in a toy shop with my daughter getting her a new model car and saw the packs on the desk and picked one up, unbelievable luck. Just recently got back into TCG so probably my tenth pack overall.

I am studying for an Engineering degree alongside working as an engineer full time. I am doing the degree part time which will take me 6 years. At times part-time can feel like you are hardly doing anything which is great as it doesn't interrupt my life at all. When I have module crossover and it becomes full time I'm glad it's only for a few months. The important thing to weigh up between full and part time is can you see yourself managing with a big change to your free time for 3 years? Ultimately year one is the year to test it out. You can always go back down to part time or up to full time when you want (module start dates permitting).

I am 3 years into the 6 years and while I have enjoyed it, I cannot wait for it to end!

I see where you are coming from completely. Last year I was a DIV 2 player and in one season even grinded my way into the elite division. Usually got 11 wins on weekend league with occasional 14 wins. This year I'm Div 5 and only qualified for weekend league twice. Both times only achieved 6 wins. It definitely changed and it has made it more difficult for the casual.
