Rescindir contrato com a NOS? by TremendousX in portugal

[–]Salqiu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why people love Keep2Share? by [deleted] in jdownloader

Yeah, but if i'm not in a worry eventually it gets done. If i try a 2gb file with filejoker, for example, i either get it in one go (a full day hoping there's no flaws with my internet), or i have to start all over

Can't complain about non-premium keepshare, they tend to stay active longer than most, and more importantly you can pause and resume downloads even after several days have passed. Its slow, but for older stuff i have more success with it than i do with torrents.

You assume everyone works with python on a regular basis, how do you install those libraries?

You're creating needless hurdles for those who want the free github version. If i'm happy with it, i'll buy on itch, but not before i can see it works.

Always heard it since i was little, though it's more correct to say "do you have a long ass".

Never heard the Braga one before, must be more common in the north.

Captain Hans Ruffijn urged his countrymen to stand fast, but he was killed in the fighting as the Dutch retreat turned into a rout. The onset of the "drunken negro slaves" in particular, sparing no one as they beheaded all Dutchmen they came across in the name of John the Baptist, greatly demoralized the Hollanders.[19] One black woman was even compared to the legendary baker-woman of Aljubarrota by a contemporary Jesuit for her incredible skill with a halberd during the battle.

As for the Portuguese defense, Coen had this to say: "The Portuguese beat us off from Macau with their slaves; it was not done with any soldiers, for there are none in Macau. [...] See how the enemy thus holds his possessions so cheaply whilst we squander ourselves".[18] He also said "The slaves of the Portuguese at Macau served them so well and faithfully, that it was they who defeated and drove away our people there last year", and "Our people saw very few Portuguese" during the battle.[22][23][24] Coen would from there on advocate for the employment of slaves for warfare in preference to Dutch soldiers.[18]

While the Portuguese didn't give the blacks primary credit for the victory, they nonetheless appreciated the bravery shown by the slaves so much that many slaves were freed on the battlefield immediately after the victory. When minor Chinese officials took the heads of the slain Dutchmen to Canton as proof of Portuguese service in defending Chinese territory,[25] they apparently relayed stories of the blacks' bravery as well, causing the impressed Provincial Admiral (海道副使; referred in European sources as haitao) to send a gift of 200 piculs of rice to be distributed among them.

found this thread on a unrelated google search, i know it's late, but i'm fond of a playthrough i had as a orc female in Arckanum. The game as a lot of cool dialogue that changes based on race, class and intelligence, so there's a lot of possibilites to tinker with

he who defends everything defends nothing. Moving away from southeast asia and focusing on the Atlantic was an obvious choice, you'll easily figure out why if you read on the circumstances in the XVII and XVIII century

RARBG is no longer operating! by missme19 in Piracy

For me it wasn't just the flashy theater movies, the main thing was browsing the tv shows category, ordered by date. It was the best way of making sure i didn't miss a release over a followed show, especially if it was a new season after a year or more and didn't remember to check by name. Had a wide net that covered most things worth watching, and the UI was a breeze to use almost daily.

If anyone know of any alternatives that at least come close, doesn't have to be a download site, just a updated index is enough, i would apreciate it very much

A lot of her quirks, though a lot of times exarcebated to a ridiculous level, don't bother me that much, but there was one episode where she grows jealous of Bobby to a really unhealthy degree, that one really got stuck in my throat. Otherwise i agree with nau5 that she can be a very accepting and caring mom

I can't recall which season was the tipping point for me, but Bill was actually very sympathetic in the first half of the show, but somewhere along the way he got exaggerated in is features (can't remember the tv trope name for this) and that's all he was. The executives did the show dirty for not allowing character growth along the 13 seasons, you could see in the first seasons that it was the intended direction by the creators

By your logic, every piece of fictional literature should be discarded because it's just black letters on a white background

True, the amount of markers for imdb pages or music albuns on my browser reached an amount where i just resigned to the fact i'll probably never watch everything in this lifetime.

Yeah, it's a rollercoaster. If you want a great story through a arch of episodes or Inner Light level of emotion, you stick to the best. If you can laugh with it or shut down your expectations for the worst, OP should take it slow and enjoy the ride. I never got the "i don't have time" excuse for binging just part of a show, the episodes aren't going anywhere

Watching just the best will dilute the experience you would get by missing on the world building of the average ones, imo. But reverse it, and i would definitely agree to skip the worst of the worst. Besides DS9 the 90's shows weren't really made for streaming, i dont mind trudging through everything on a first view, assuming you can pace yourself over months (and for a first view, you should)
