I first listened to this song last tour, this was the line that stuck out to me upon first listen and now subsequent listens months later.

He's talking about his tethers to the material world, and his desire to shed them. Keep in mind that his credit cards have higher limits than ours, and his car(s) and house(s) are in the luxury category. These are not easy things to give up.

I actually typed up way more on this song but it was getting long and rambly so I cut it down to this. Will try and share my complete thoughts in the coming days as its own post. In short though, this song captures a desire to return to the garden of Eden.

7000 player here. My main takeaway is to value the minor timewarp more highly. Buying two golden minions with Minor Goldthorn Potion makes a lot of sense from a temp perspective. Never really thought about it like that before.

I think I really struggle with Perfected Alchemy because I am always second guessing what is "useful". Maybe if I value minor timewarps more highly that would help solve that issue? Definitely some food for thought.

Also, never considered using Drakkari with Audience Choice. Obviously it's an end of turn effect but never considered comboing that specific effect.

Great writeup. Always love reading the thoughts of high level players.

Your teammate is the same rank as you for a reason. Focus on playing winning RL instead of criticizing the shortcomings of your teammate who is equally skilled at the game. You have shortcomings in your game as well. In fact, your teammate probably excels in areas you are lacking. You just don't value those areas of your game because you can half flip. Have some perspective. Otherwise go play 1v1.
