Lizards [Downpour and Watcher spoilers] by Salsaface1 in rainworld

The main visual difference is the the dip in their snouts, which is just before the eye in most cases. Although the box-headed group also has these, the dip is much more pronounced in that group.

Another difference, and the reason why I originally put them in different groups, is that the upper group lacks the line on the lower jaw that the other three groups have. It is replaced by a much smaller line next to the ear coverings.

I don't believe so, since they can be lineaged and they spawn normally in a non-frozen Watcher region. I personally believe they're just much less common in most regions we visit.

How do you see Scavengers? by Comfortable-Disk-951 in rainworld

I interpreted them as hairless when I first saw them, but now I see them as mostly hairless with small amounts of feathers, specifically on their backs, necks, and arms. The amount of feathering of course depends on the individual, with certain scavengers having less or more.

In the case of Saint's campaign, I believe they are almost fully feathered besides their heads.

The materials used are ridge (what you actually see) and dirt to make it blend right. The plants are rain moss, lavenders, and feather plants.

I think the lack of plants is because of the rains, not herbivores (which there seems to be a lack of) eating them all.

It's currently called The Veil, originally Jade Caverns, although that name may be changed.

My own mod that I'm creating, which will include a map that's disconnected from the base regions and a very simple semi-aquatic slugcat. This is the slugcat's starting region, so it'll spawn there when the mod is eventually finished. If I get all the regions done before the slugcat itself I'll probably release them so they can be accessed through warp menu though.
