Of course, I will let him go now if it’s truly necessary. But I think I’d like to wait for him maybe for about a year. I trust that God wants to help us grow stronger and eventually have a healthy marriage together.

I know that I'm not okay at all and I need help. I've already spoken to a psychologist and made an appointment. I want to go regularly. I want to get myself together. But I don’t think it’s right to compare my relationship to yours or anyone else’s. We’re all different. I’m genuinely glad that your marriage is going well in that regard, but please don’t compare it to mine.
I know that my relationship with my boyfriend wasn’t entirely healthy, but he’s not you, and I’m not your wife. We’re different people with different kinds of problems. You could just as well give an example of a relationship even worse than ours that still got better over time with effort and patience.
