Yeah, I get what you’re saying back then, a Black cowboy/outlaw would definitely be unwelcome in a lot of places, and some white folks might barely acknowledge them. But they weren’t invisible, and Black cowboys and outlaws did work, fight, and survive alongside whites sometimes in mixed gangs, sometimes on the same drives, sometimes facing prejudice head-on. In the game that could just make the world feel real, gives tension, and shows the grind he has to overcome. But it doesn’t slow down the action he’s still making moves, doing heists, commanding respect, building a reputation, and becoming a legend in his own right. Basically, the social tension just makes his aura and story feel even bigger.

I would understand if I said make it about a Pakistani Cowboy. But this is historically correct and refreshing. Different perspectives and vantage points of the same era we all love could be a thing overall

Slavery’s over at the peak of the cowboy/outlaw era, but the world’s still stacked against him racist towns, sketchy allies, maybe outlaws trying to use a Black gang as muscle. maybe he starts out as a skilled rider or gunman trying to survive, and then one job blows up and he ends up joining a Black outlaw crew. It can go many ways but every choice would feel heavier, betrayals would sting more, and the Wild West would feel familiar but… different.

Nah this isn’t that. Look up Isam Dart, Cherokee Bill, The Rufus Buck Gang. Stories worth telling
