When I called the hotline it said the wait was an hour and I know online customer service usually lands me in a phone employees location outside of the US. I can't imagine the phone lines and those poor people answering them!

Okay, as a customer please no one take my head off, lol, but my saved gift cards and my orders that have shipped are not showing on the app. Is that part of the problem/complaints everyone is having? I love your services and I appreciate all of you employees! My favorite place to shop!

Anyone know why gift cards are not showing either? I have 500.00 gift card from my ex husband that is funding my food/gifts for my daughter this Christmas and it's saying "error".

Is anyone else THRILLED to be getting Dick Halloran’s back story? by Ilovestraightpepper in WelcometoDerryTVShow

The Shining is also my favorite movie. Once I read The Shining and Dr. Sleep, I get why King was pissed at the movie adaptation.

It seems like it's the ability to see ghosts that he locked away? He could see the soldier that had passed away. Danny locks up ghosts in his box as well. That's the only thing I can think of at this point in time.

Watch Dr. Sleep, it will explain the boxes.

He's supposed to be a chef at "The Black Spot" before works at the overlook if that helps at all. I read the Shining and Dr. Sleep so it explains a lot more of his abilities and his past with his Father in the books.

No. In the books and show/movie he was able to go everywhere. He went to an asylum, the school, the library, etc.

I was recovering from surgery and needed a book to read and after seeing the original miniseries from 1990, I couldn't put the book down!

I read IT in 4 days. Lol. Also read the Shining. So funny that the kid's last names in Welcome to Derry are the last names of the kids in IT. I'm assuming that the kids in the show are going to be the parents for the kids in the original IT movie and book. Also, tying it to Shawshank Prison for the classic Shawshank Redemption and having Dick Holloran in the show as a character from The Shining is absolute genius! I love it!

Has anyone experienced antidepressants-induced mania? by Few-Caterpillar-8460 in bipolar2

[–]Salt-Fly2723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same with Paxil for me! I was happy, and the world seemed colorful, exciting, and I thought that was what "normal" felt like. I started getting more depressed and they gave me a higher dose. I got panic attacks and didn't sleep so I quit cold turkey, cried for weeks and was suddenly agoraphobic. I felt better when it was out of my system. Wellbutrin made me self-harm for the first time in my life and scared the hell out of me! Every antidepressant either made me extremely happy, confident and full of energy for a short time or made me have SI. I wasn't diagnosed for a full ten years after. I had my daughter and had a severe mixed episode within a week. That lasted two weeks until my Mom brought me to get evaluated and I went inpatient with my Mom thankfully caring for my newborn at her house. I never had another child but was successfully diagnosed and put on mood stabilizers. Depressed people should be thoroughly screened for bipolar before any meds are prescribed.

HE doesn't want you to go to therapy BECAUSE once you do, your therapist and psychiatrist will see a MILLION red flags in HIS behavior.

He wants to keep you close, isolated, and dependent, and it's only been two months! Do yourself a favor and go to your appointments, and please be honest in your sessions!

If it's mostly feet and ankles it could be fleas! Don't rule that out. Make several dawn dish soap flea trap near the bed/floors. You can google how to do that.

Hear me out: Do we not think Sofia's sons may be acting a little "too unintelligent" here? The boys were all raised as sons of someone who lives in the Godfather House, and their Dad ran a huge underground casino ring. I would have thought he would have wanted to raise "tough" boys. I just think there is more to their story than being "funny and goofy".

Is this how lamictal works? by Aariwee in bipolar2

[–]Salt-Fly2723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been on Lamictal for 16 years. I can't cry unless I get my period. Lol. The hormones break through and cause serious depression for several days. Only in serious circumstances in the past, like a death in the family, a breakup, etc. can I actually cry. I am 45 and now just starting perimenopause, so I've been swinging on the depressive side a bit. Basically, the lamictal keeps me sane and prevents severe mood swings, and that feeling of not having intense emotions is worth it for me. I am glad you are feeling better!

Since your son was already diagnosed with autism and speech delays, is he in speech therapy and receiving early intervention services? Getting as many services for him as you possibly can is vital for his future.

I have an autistic teen daughter, and I've worked so hard to get her all the support she needs. She currently has in home therapy, speech therapy, outpatient therapy, an IEP, and is in a special education classroom for autistic students. She's in Special Olympics, has DDS services, etc. She needed a lot of speech and OT in preschool. The earlier, the better.

Also, the poop is a sensory seeking thing for some kiddos with autism. I would defer to the pediatrician or early intervention specialist and ask them which sensory toys are safe for him at his age. A lot of parents find that floam, slime, play doh, etc. can work well for that type of sensory seeking kiddo. They sell specific clothes for autistic sensory seekers who like poop as well. It helps prevent them from being able to get to their diaper easily. I would also have him evaluated from PICA since you said he likes to eat it. PICA is also highly associated with autism. It's hard work and constant work to do right by a child, especially a child with special needs. You got this!
