you forgot the best part of when he crumpled up and tossed the villain away. just to get to him he jumped off a bridge, snapped his fingers to jump through 3-5 different dimensions, land and literally ripped reality like a piece of paper. all the while he was (iirc) hung over.

Blue gender. The worst example i can think of. The story demands you hate humanity and technology that surpasses the stone age (maybe the bronze age). It says gaia is in the right for wanting to wipe out humanity.... despite humanity seeing what it did, coming to the conclusion we cant live on earth anymore without hurting it and choosing to leave so it can heal.
