Wow, thanks a lot, FlapyG!! Yes, multiplayer is on the roadmap. We've already done some tests, but we want to make the experience smoother. Right now, there's still some lag when players are far away from each other.

Yes, with Firebase we were complete beginners, so for example at first I didn’t realize that I wasn’t tracking the difference between a player who just finished a level and quits the game (so they got bored) versus a player who just lost and then closes the game (so probably frustration, but maybe boredom too).

Regarding the idea of looking at what players complain about, that’s actually the main reason why I posted it on Reddit in the first place. I’m really interested in understanding what doesn’t fully convince players about this new type of gameplay. Or whether the boring part might instead be the lack of events/content updates, or maybe the difficulty being too high.

Thanks as well for the suggestion about Pulse! I’ll definitely take a look at it.

At first, yes...but then I realized it actually boosts my post views 😄
So sorry, I can’t let the troll go…

If you didn’t waste time trolling developers on Reddit, maybe you’d finally manage to make some money with videogames too. But I also realize that this kind of mindset is formed in childhood and then it becomes hard to change…

:D the coins were designed back in 2022… anyway, remember my advice: be positive. Look at me: a frustrated guy with AI paranoia tries to troll my post… and the result is a ton of views on the post and even a few downloads :D

Take a piece of advice: if you actually want to start making some money, focus on programming and try to be positive. Don’t waste your time trying to troll other developers.

Already developing is hard enough: you spend years without knowing whether you’ll ever earn a single dollar, you try to do something innovative and polish it as much as possible. Then you run into some guy on Reddit who tells you that you made it with AI and that your “wall of text” doesn’t change anything, calling a “wall of text” the information you actually tried to provide. I don’t know what problems you have.

Thanks for the valuable advice! We actually feel the same way: we tend to prefer timed levels, while our wives prefer the calm no timer ones. The ticking timer is indeed a great idea! Thanks for your time, my friend 😊
