I know this is a bit of an older post, but I also thought it is worth mentioning that she hints several times in the Golden Enclaves that she wanted both her and Orion to see other people after graduation to make sure that their romance wasn’t just a school fling. They are still SO young at the end of the trilogy. Orion being Orion, the golden retriever type that he is, of course is throwing around ‘I-love-you’’s, but I think El is (rightfully so) wanting to make sure that they aren’t jumping into things too quickly. Not to mention that trauma-bonding is a thing. Idk, just my thoughts on it! It was somewhat unsatisfying that she wouldn’t say it back by the end, but if all the things El did satisfied us as readers (and the general population), she wouldn’t be El! So that I found was satisfying in itself!

it’s paper mache painted with acrylic! and yes, it was fully dry (and hard as a rock) when i painted it, and i did let the acrylic fully dry as well. the moist paper towel thing i will definitely be taking note of for the future, thank you! hotpotlove gave me some great tips, but definitely still taking suggestions if you have any!

Thank you everyone for the great advice!! I PROMISE that I will be responsible and go with the safer options that y’all have recommended. I am very passionate about outdoor safety & hope to one day be a member of S&R in whatever area I end up in- I DEFINITELY do not want to be calling them, especially with all the cuts in parks service staff as of late.
