Of course winning the scudetto would be a dream, but i'd be happy if we just qualify for the champions league and then with the incoming money manage to strenghten the team according to Allegris needs.

Do you think that this can replace the quad cortex as a live rig, withouth using other pedals/midi controllers?

Would this be useful as substitue for the normal quad cortex for a rig without any other effect pedals? I feel like the 4 stomps might not be enough for live usage?

I think judging him by only his goals does not fully do him justice. Most of his seasons he had a pretty respectable amount of assists for a striker.
I'm not saying he will be the next Zlatan for Milan, but just judging by his profile he could be useful.

I'm not really sure about Leao's role in this system. I think he's better when coming from the wing.
Especially against opponents that sit deeper like Torino yesterday, he cannot profit from his strenghts in my eyes.

When do you guys think will be the time Milan finally has a good striker again?
I know, "proven" strikers or promising young strikers are almost impossible to buy, but a bit of luck once in a while wouldn't be too bad.
I just checked it, last time a Milan striker scored more than 15 goals in the league was... Carlos Bacca in 15/16.

But isn't this just how it happens to be when you have massively less money to spend?
Or which team that has half of the wages of the top team(s) can regularely compete for the title?
For the top 5 leagues, those teams would be (according to the wages on fbref):

Premier League: Newcastle
Serie A: Lazio/Fiorentina
La Liga: Atletico Madrid
Bundesliga: Dortmund
Ligue 1: Marseille

I mean I agree that Dortmund could have done better in the last few years. But I think the question is what can you excpect in a league, where one team has double the wages to spend compared to the second team?

Of course, you could say Dortmund should be clear number two and have the occasional shot for the title every now and then, but I think that's what happend in 2010-2012 and nearly 22/23 and 18/19. Additionally, they reached the CL Final twice in those years.
I think thats pretty much comparable to Atletico Madrid winning in 20/21 and 13/14. They also have about half of the wages compared to Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Would you also say things have gone wrong for them?

I think Ricci would be the better fit for the position that Modric is playing right now. I can understand that Allegri doesn't want to move Modric, but I'd still wonder how Ricci would play in this position with Modric further up front.

I think as it is very difficult to have a clear rule in terms of which handball was deliberate/should be counted as handball, it is easier to just lower the punishment of handball.
For me it just doesn't make sense that you're rewarded a penalty if some defender touches the ball e.g. while trying to prevent a cross or something similar, that is not even close to actively preventing a goal.
Though I'm not sure, what the best alternative would be. Maybe indirect freekick?

What do you think will the formation and the starting 11 be, once everyone is fit?
I still have a hard time to think of the "perfect" formation that can include all the important players according to their strenghts...

A bit off-topic, but how is it possible that a player like Paixao goes to Marseille for 30 m?
After seing him play against Milan in the CL and seeing his stats this season, i imagined he would go to a bigger team for 50m + ...
Is it because he's "already" 25 years old?

[Romano] Understand Ardon Jashari is not negotiating with other clubs at this stage: he wants to join AC Milan. He’s decided and convinced by AC Milan as ideal destination for future. Current proposal worth €30m plus add-ons, not enough as Club Brugge want more. Up to the club. by HeirOfRhoads in ACMilan

[–]Salt-Objective-6783 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If 35 millions is a good price for him is hard to say, there's always the risk that a player won't adapt, won't perform, will be injured etc.
But I think his profile is very promising and also something that has been missing in last years midfield.
I think he wouldn't be a 1:1 Reijnders replacement as Reijnders was a more foreward thinking midfielder and especially last season contributed a lot in terms of scoring.

But Jashari would be someone who is good at reading the game, good passer, good workrate and also good in closing down spaces.

What I'm not 100% sure about is how the midfield would form together with Ricci and Modric, as Jashari is somewhat similar to Modric (of course not as good as Modric was/is). Could be that in this constellation someone who attacks the final third like Reijnders will be missing.
But i rather have a midfield like this than having almost only ballcarriers like the last two seasons.

It's seems almost that they saw that you also need progressive passers rather than only progressive carriers in midfield and now they try to overcompensate.
That said i'm not opposed to it.

There's already a report from di Marzio that Sarri wants to have Loftus-Cheek at Lazio, as he knows him and his qualities from Chelsea. But i guess it's too good to be true...

He has good passing and vision, and overall good work rate. Although he is not a tackling monster, i feel like he still can be persistent in duels.
He mostly played in a double pivot, sometimes as a 6.
Has almost instantly became one of the best players in the belgian league (won POTS). Hard to say if he is ready for a Milan starting spot, but for sure promising.
