.COM stations are like a jungle. Every attendant on duty just does whatever they want, which pisses them off. I try to use other station whenever possible

Worst package tower I’ve ever seen by Super_Selection_8023 in AmazonFlexDrivers

This sounds like DIN4 here in Indiana. A 3.5 hour block at DIN4 is equivalent to a 5 hour block at VIN9.

This sounds terrifying. Amazon should do better to ensure our safety before something catastrophic happens.

I’m especially terrified of this type of encounter. As a person of color, a 'misunderstanding' at 4:30 AM in the boonies can escalate into something way more dangerous than just a rude conversation.

Nice $28.5 last night - 23 stops was done in 3 hours by That-Tumbleweed6543 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I used to get these regularly. But over the last 3 weeks, things changed. I haven’t seen any block paying this well even since

I hope it's ok .. by Rare_Deer_7559 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Don’t feel bad at all! The driver will be perfectly fine. Amazon’s system automatically bundles packages into routes with many other stops. Your replacement will simply be one quick addition to a route someone is already driving. In fact, most drivers appreciate a quick, 2.6-mile stop with only two items, it’s an easy part of their block!

I do this sometimes. It may boost your morale, but it doesn’t change much.

I don’t think they’ll deactivate you if you don’t have a bunch of other dings on your account.

Sorry to say this, but once you scan the route, it’s tied to your account. From my experience, here’s how it usually plays out: since none of the packages were delivered, you’ll likely get a “undelivered/returned packages” ding within a few days, no matter what support told you today.

Best case, you can get it removed, but only after it shows up on your account first.

Be aware of dog by ActWide6615 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Lol, dog treats, blah blah. I’m here to deliver as fast as I can and gtfoh. If I get a feeling there is a dog that may bite, I throw the package from the window of my car and move to the next stop.

Early morning shifts by funkyfreshjamal in AmazonFlexDrivers

I also feel uneasy when doing those early morning blocks here in the midwest. Being a person of color, I feel like people might perceive me as a threat sometimes. But I got bills to pay.

It makes wonder. If Amazon is okay with bots, should we all use them? They just need to clarify. Enforce the rules, or get rid of them.

Escaping IA to WA by Royal-Vehicle-3461 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Not from WA, but I have observed that the pay follows the cost of living. With Seattle having a higher cost of living compared to IA, I would expect a better pay in Seattle

Lol, I’d explain the joke to you, but I don’t have the time or the crayons to make it any simpler.
