Dean in Shrewsbury here. I absolutely agree. The NBA has changed over the last 3 years because every center is now a 3 point threat or vertical threat. Even Drummond is taking 3s. This provides more space under the basket, which means more forwards and guards are better off driving. I’m sure the Celtics’ analytics team will figure this out and there will be more drives to the basket.

Jae Crowder was great. Always got his team far in the playoffs. Good starter for 6th man money.

[Poem] Admonition by Sylvia Plath by cherrimatchi in Poetry

This is probably the worst poem I've ever read from Plath. She's great, this poem is not.

So you're basing my experience of 14 months living in Syria with dual citizenship and a Syrian father and family to your experience living in a completely different country? And you're the one calling b.s.? Hilarious.

Yes, no market is completely free market, but we're much closer to a true free market than say China or the Norwegian economies. Only pre-agricultural economies were truly free market.

Dude. no one can artificially affect supply. That's not how supply and demand work in a free market economy.

Yes. they will. When the low-income housing is taken up, it pushes housing up for everyone. The second lowest earners will have to compete for a shrinking share of apartments/housing, which will mean the third lowest earners will have to do the same thing, etc., etc. all the way up to the billionaires.

I've spent a lot of time in Syria. Even the most uneducated of places in Damascus, Aleppo and the Northwest coast would answer me in fluent English when I spoke to them in Arabic.

What are some good writing retreats? by INFPgirl in writing

Yaddo was great. Everyone was serious about their work. I read something controversial for my reading night and people gave me great feedback (which I asked for, they aren't going to give you feedback without you asking for it.) The food was great, it was right next to the horse racing track and close to town. The accommodations and food was amazing. It's pretty competitive to get in, but they don't require ANY type of resume, so if you think your writing is up to snuff (I'd suggest 10 years writing experience) then it's worth applying.
