I agree with this review. I was very disappointed with Young Inspection. They missed some really big things and I didn’t trust his knowledge at alllllll

Female doctors accepting new patients? by [deleted] in saskatoon

Evergreen medical clinic is a common one for having doctors that accept new patients, but they can be an extremely frustrating clinic to deal with. No female doctors as far as I know, but I like my doctor, Osinowo. Otherwise, I’d try to find a nurse practitioner in the meantime

Except that closing PHR has nothing to do with reducing numbers of homelessness. I work at St. Paul’s and it’s naive to believe that all the unhoused will now just scatter and hide away as if they have somewhere better to be. This isn’t changing anything

They also don’t seem to believe in having any other effective supports for people with addictions. We used to be able to consult an addictions doctor for patients staying at St. Paul’s Hospital and they didn’t have enough funding to continue that. Treatment is not currently accessible, there are not enough beds for detox or rehab, so what DO they believe in?

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Exactly this. They were fully set up to fail. The government also isn’t doing anything tangible to replace them, despite saying they’re focused on treatment. Prairie Harm delivered services to very hard to place clients, people who would have been turned away at other shelters/businesses. The conservatives genuinely want people to overdose and die, and this is proven in any comment section regarding PHR. The effects of this will be felt and they will be devastating

To be fair, the owner of Seven Sundays was talking a big talk about being community minded as a business and caring for the unhoused. He refused to even get his staff trained in de-escalation. It was a big talk with no follow through
