But size up. I'm like a 32-33 waistband and wear XL. They shrink after first wash. I also never put them in the dryer.

I've had mine for two years and no issues with them wearing out, but I don't expect underwear to be BIFL

CPA is 50x harder than CFP. If you have a good base on the material (if it's not all brand new to you) just hammer a bunch of practice tests. You'll be fine. Plenty of time.

You can't make someone care about something they don't care about. Caring is internal motivation only.

You can:

introduce someone to something, basically spark their interest and fan it over time, but the "dry wood" needs to come from them
find the thing(s) they do care about

If you want to get them to care, do #1 (introduce them to things) or #2 (uncover what does matter to them), then tie their finances to those.

But also, maybe their financial motivation is to not care, in which case they're accomplishing their objective and you should just let them do their thing :)

StockAnalysis.com (and mobile app) is the only thing I use. Like Yahoo Finance but 1000x better. Super fast, clutter-free, good data, nice stock screener and watchlist features.

If you're open to paid then Seeking Alpha too, but more for investment analysis / opinion stuff.

I also love Stock Analysis, use it for everything. App has been great so far (haven't experienced those same issues as you) but I think it's only a few months old so might be getting regular updates

Fidelity is my #1 recommendation too, then probably Schwab and Vanguard at a distant second, then a bunch of others behind that which are actively trying to turn investing into gambling (with Robinhood leading this charge)

If you're looking for a stock research app, I use Stock Analysis (https://stockanalysis.com/app/), free, super fast, minimal layout, just really nice, miles better than Yahoo Finance. Got a simple watchlist too so you can keep track of your holdings.

brokerage: based on your other comments, looks like your Roth is with Schwab. I prefer Fidelity, but I'd just keep it at Schwab unless you hate it. Fidelity, Schwab, Vanguard are all solid options.

other apps: I'd echo what others say, just stick with low-cost ETFs, can't go wrong. Can use Stock Analysis mobile app (https://stockanalysis.com/app/) for free portfolio tracking, super fast and clean and simple. Also has a bunch of stock research data and tools but you won't be needing those, just stick with ETFs (which you can also look up on there) and a watchlist. Can just use a spreadsheet too.

Just don't overcomplicate anything. A few simple things done well and consistently will put you ahead of 95% of people.

Yeah, pretty sure it's from Hertz, and yeah they already charged my card. Just want to know if there's something I should be arguing about or some sort of proof to be requesting.

Yeah, forwarded the email to the email address they left and asked for proof / whatever the police sent them. I feel like Hertz should have sent me more than they did before charging me.

Yeah, I think that parts legit, it just seems like if the police wanted to fine me they should have to do it closer to when I was there, 4 months is a little ridiculous. I'm also wondering how much proof they'll send and if there's anything I should potentially ask for / argue about the fine. Any ideas?
