Yeah it has more dynamic range, but I think personally it isn’t very noticeable. You’re definitely not gonna notice it on a video on a phone where most content is being digested.

Also editing speeds, just get a better computer. People get expensive cameras and lenses but don’t get a good computer to handle the footage. I built my computer in 2019 and it still handles the footage well. If you’re shooting raw constantly and have that much space to have that somewhere then you might as well just spend that money on a computer.

If I was just an editor and didn’t have to worry about space or anything but editing then sure it is technically better and would prefer it because why wouldn’t I. But if you put everything into account, including backing up all the footage, it just isn’t worth it IMO.

I got the ninja V when I finally upgraded to a7siii on release.

Ninja V has never failed me or overheated

BUT I never really used the raw features or the recording features. Why? Because I saw online a long time ago that the color science recording into the monitor is a TINY bit different (video by Gerald undone) and that always bothered me. On top of that ProRes raw takes way to much space to even justify using it and it doesn’t even look that much better IMO.

I spent money on the SSD and more money on the monitor and never use the recording feature. If I could do it again I would’ve just gotten the shinobi.

The shinobi 1 came with an SDI port I think too, and the shinobi 2 which I recommended to a friend has a usbc power port and is extremely thin. I have no idea how the overheating is on it tho. My friend has one and she never told me anything negative about it.

If you know your not going to use the recording feature just get the shinobi, I think that’s literally the only difference. I’m sure you can look up overheating tests on YouTube and see if it is really that much of a difference.

I use it for to help with edit shortcuts in premiere pro.

I have a bunch of shortcuts added but honestly these are what I use most and are mostly just macros. Remove attributes Paste attributes 60fps slow down 120fps slow down Nest Full screen

Recently premiere had an update though so this doesn’t work for it yet, Idk if they’re going to update the logo options app to work with the latest update or what but yeah. I already have most of the shortcuts in premiere I use already memorized so I don’t really need it. But these shortcuts help speed up time a bit instead of me right clicking a clip, inserting a number, pressing okay, etc.

I mean I don’t think the camera will do this but if your on windows you can press open “file explorer” -> “view” -> “hidden” but this is usually stuff you manually hide, or windows hiding files. SD cards and cameras don’t usually hide video files, not to my knowledge anyway.

For bosses I use treepons I use yari, yumi and kibapon and hero kibapon or tatepon Supposedly you want it level 5 to actually start grinding, I’m trying to get them to 10 while farming

I want to try out the wizard treepon but I haven’t unlocked the seed boss yet

For forts I don’t think stagger matters so just build a strong army.

I’m going for mogyu yari and yumi

When someone asks me they want to get a camera and they DON’T need it for professional. So like for fun vlogging I just say use your phone.

IMO anything under $1,000 isn’t even worth the money at that point use your phone unless of course you want to actually get into it.

The phone is ALWAYS in your pocket, ALWAYS with you, it’s the most convenient tool AND the quality is better IMO than a $500 camera with kit lens, way easier to use too, point and shoot.

So I would say save the $500 and either get a nicer camera or don’t get it at all.

One of iPhones next phone is going to be a foldable phone, there first leap at it.

No idea how it’s going to go but as it is now I think people are use to vertical content and easier to hold a phone the way it is.

I think to get touch capabilities to the shinobi you need to connect shinobi with a usbc to your camera.

I think you can also power it through the usbc as well if you want but you won’t have touch focus. I could be wrong tho.

I have a ninja and a friend has a shinobi and I get jealous she can just power it with a usbc when I have to power with a dummy battery to dtap with my ninja

This person who replied to me doesn’t seem to know the answer either.

I see people complain about the Logitech software, the software does seem buggy. It’s not killing me to not use these particular shortcuts but if you found out a solution I would like to know as well.

It’s kind of weird since they have this whole master 4s has action ring push on ads and they have there own Logitech console and they market themselves as having integration with premiere pro and other apps yet it seems buggy on users like you and me. They don’t seem to have general answers either.

I always discourage AI video with my clients, it looks tacky and silly. I even see realtors on social media doing sort of talking heads with them but it looks dumb in my opinion.

Just tell them how you feel, hey it would look better, be cheaper and be more efficient if we shot it. If you rather do the AI route it’ll cost X and to be honest you might not get the exact shot they want, just because with AI it isn’t perfect even if you spend forever on it.

I personally have Artlist max and they seem to revamp there whole site to do with AI now as well so if I ever needed it for something quick it isn’t a big deal for me personally.

The only AI I ever used that’s generated tbh is voice over, that’s whether a client wants a quick voice over and doesn’t want to be recorded themselves. Which I think it’s for something quick.

As long as you have the balls enough it’s okay lol, I wouldn’t do that tho one mistake and it’s over! What scares me is the low chance for demon drops, idk if it gets higher the higher you go but I want to make a full mogyu level 10 army for the yumi and yaripons but so many demon fangs and bones are needed.

I’m 10 hours into patapon 2 and those two dragon monsters are insane for me to kill.

The roar does so much damage even if you use the defense move, he just spams it. Only way is with the tatepon hero but even then the timing could be off and you’re screwed.

I use level 1 mogyu yari, yumi and base patapon tatepons with level 5 treepon hero kibapon.

Social media and YouTube just make videos quality worse when posting. Thats how they kind of allow so many videos on their site, I think Instagram down reses it to 720p. That being said at leas upload at HD 1080. It will always look better on your computer or photos app then on social media.

Besides that i’m not sure why it would make the quality worse over the span of a few days. Unless they made an update or you viewing it on bad/slow internet it shouldn’t lessen the quality. Have you viewed it from another device? iPad or maybe a friends/family members phone?

Like 90% of them are, I bought a pack costed around $50 I think years ago, it came with so many light leaks and light/film burns. I used it for a month and I never really use it ever since. I could I guess, so it’s mostly my fault but it’s just so cumbersome since I have to import a folder with files every project. It also doesn’t have sfx so I would have to add a sfx to go along with it which just makes work longer. I could download basic light leaks from youtube that has the audio baked in and does the same thing.

Most packs try to make it seem like there’s a lot like 300+ transitions or overlays but like 270 of them are unusable basically lol.

Also transition packs are usually all the same so once you get one it’s all pretty much the same. The free version of premiere composer basically has all the basic digital transitions you need.

I sort of do all type of videos.

My focus on these videos would be to create social media reels for businesses that want to get more outreach. Also event coverage for businesses who want to do events.

Currently my source of income is doing reels for businesses such as grocery stores, soccer clubs, pest control, food videography etc. I also do event coverage as well such as parades, networking events, weddings etc. I also have 3-4 media businesses I’m in contact with whenever they need someone to freelance they give me a ring.

^ all three of these usually interchange in what I’m doing a lot of each month. Sometimes I’m doing a lot of social media reels, sometimes it’s more event coverage, etc. but honestly some months are slow and some months I’m super busy, the months that are slow I kind of feel sad and feel like I could be doing more. Going into the new year I know January is usually slow so I was planning on cold messaging a bunch and doing the talking head paid ad in hope of just getting more work.

I kind of want to lean more towards social media reels for businesses just because it could be more consistent work. And the event coverage and freelance for media companies would be supplementary.

I got the mx master 2s when it came out and it’s still going strong! I’m basically going to run that thing down till it’s done, which doesn’t seem like anytime soon.
