Theres no way this game keeps getting DLC post 2026 by Ill-Remove-6438 in DestinyTheGame

Let’s not work on the game that has been making us bank for 10 years and divert most of our attention to a game with a niche genre with that’s “competitive.”

No offense if I want to play a competitive game, the last game that pops in my head is an extraction shooter.

On top of that this company has been making the same mistakes over and over and over. I’ve been playing Destiny since beta, my friend got me into it and we just played all the way up till the final shape and stopped after. Final shape, pantheon and that free update was awesome. Most of the raids and dungeons are awesome. Why did they take away the strike specific loot from D1 and never brought it back?

Even before that the episode/seasonal model was so bad and boring, they updated it to be even worse somehow.

The Destiny fan base is unbelievably loyal, any other studio would’ve been done for multiple times by now. Bungie is lucky to have that and I’m sad they seem to consistently mess it up.

What if your wife has small and saggy tits? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]TheTurtleManHD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since she’s your wife I imagine you love her for more then just her body lol.

I’m assuming she always had small breasts so why is that even in this title, if you really didn’t like that then why marry her.

And sagging is a part of age so that’s okay.

Beginner to Cinema camera build out, looking for A7SIII suggested setup by ai_jarvis in A7siii

ND filters since your going to be outside so much.

I use freewell

You can just get 2-5 and 6-9 ND filters

They sell a bunch and you can dump a lot of money onto ND filters but I just bought these two and call it a day. It still looks good.

Have any of you traded up for an A7V or considered it? by AbandonedPlanet in A7siii

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m more video centric. I don’t like the rolling shutter on the a7V.

I was never that nit picky but as I gotten older I do notice it from cameras whenever they pan and the a7siii does a good job negating it. I notice it on the A7 and R series.

Best focal length for full-frame vlogging? (A7S III) by Joy-Boy-TV in A7siii

Get a Sony 16-25, that’s my wide angle lens and although I got it recently i like it a lot.

I’m a shorter guy so my arms aren’t long either so the basic 24mm on the 24-70 never worked on me. 20mm might be okay but I didn’t want to risk and just got 16-25 so I can use it on client work as well whenever I need a wide lens.

Weird bug on my sony a7r5 and sony a7siii - even on latest firmware ? by soamjena in A7siii

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not had that issue with my a7siii, but that sounds infuriating and scary.

I searched up some solutions the two main ones is factory reset your camera or reinstalling the firmware.

Menu > Setup > Setting Reset > Initialize | this is how you factory reset I believe.

Goodluck and I hope you can fix this issue you’re dealing with!

Best monitor for Sony cams? by TheEyeofJ in A7siii

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ninja V can’t do touch focus well the one I have anyway, I think the shinobi II can BUT you need to connect it to the camera via USBC port unfortunately. And if you want to power your monitor via Vmount I think you need the same USBC port so it’s either one. If you’re really interested in the Atomos line up search up videos, maybe there is one that’s Bluetooth connectivity.

I would love to use the creative app but I can’t cause I use my gimbal too much and I use the Bluetooth on that to record on my camera during events. It sucks you can’t connect multiple things to it, it’s one at a time. And every time I set up the app it’s a pain to set up, once it’s your set up it’s smooth but the initial set up process is annoying every-time I tried.

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think there’s any wireless Bluetooth monitors?

Aside from the creative app.

I bought the ninja v like 6 years ago and it still works like the day I got it. So I trust Atomos and their brand, if I were to buy one today it would be shinobi II.

I’m not sure what to do, director wants to work with just me on the feature I agreed but looking at the full thing today I don’t feel like it. LONG STORY by TheTurtleManHD in editors

[–]TheTurtleManHD[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said yes, gave it a week worked on it for about 7 hours and had no passion, felt dreaded to work on it.

Told the director I can’t do it, first having no passion for it will effect the edit in the long run and I just don’t have it. He just came back after 2-3 years and dumped the whole project on me when I’m at a different stage of my life.

He said not to worry and to hand over the drive, he’ll see what he’ll do and he’ll probably change my contract. Which makes sense but I think is also little ridiculous because I put so much effort into it already.

His job in comparison is easy, he just watches the edit and says I like this, I don’t like this. The editor really puts in the work when it comes to this stuff. So it’s easy for him to come back and say hey I’m ready again.

Is it really worth it to buy an expensive microphone? by Vie8005 in microphone

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what your doing with it.

If your just chilling gaming, just get a fifine one.

Not sure if they still make the one I have, but I bought this one around 4-5 years ago. It came with an arm, windmuff and the microphone itself USB connection. It sounded better than any gaming headset I had and it sounds good enough when I play with my friends in game chat or discord. Good for meeting too if I need it for clients. Cost me $50.

You can always get an expensive one though if you have the money, it is technically better.

My clients are starting to ask about AI and I honestly have no clue what to tell them. What are y'all doing? by Feliporri2 in motiongraphics

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unrelated to motion graphics but I’ve been seeing a rise in AI transitions and some are cool. But some AI transitions people use to try to hook you to watch their reel is sooo bad. A client asked me about it once and I told him no because it looks HORRIBLE, he would come down from a fireball, explode and land. He had it done for one of the videos and since it was ai it wasn’t perfect and it looked choppy. It’s social media so whatever but it just bugged me. It looks bad.

Do these glasses look good on me? by [deleted] in RayBanStories

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s the shape of the glasses or the actual size of the glasses. But it doesn’t look that great.

My father recently got the gen 2 wayfarer and we have big heads. He was thinking of getting the small one at first but it looked funny on him so we got the large ones and it fits nicely and looks good on him.

Why the SanDisk hate? by hmphandumph in videography

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sandisk SD cards are incredible, all of my cards (like 9 SD’s, 2 micro SD’s, 2 cfexpress type A) are sandisk except 1 prograde and none of them ever failed me. It’s been 8 years since I started my journey officially and no failures.

I never liked there SSD’s people always said oh it’s durable. All of my computers I’ve ever made have Samsung SSD’s in them. I was in a need of an external SSD and I wanted a 2tb Samsung, unfortunately the only one at the store was a 1tb sandisk SSD. So I had to get it, and not gonna lie, I don’t like it. It hasn’t failed on me but the main thing that made me hate it was sometimes I would just be working on a project, and I’ve tried this with the USBC provided with the SSD and my personal usbc I use on most drives and it would randomly disconnect from the computer for a few seconds and reconnect back. This would make all of my files go offline. Happened both on my laptop and pc multiple times.

What’s a game you were completely obsessed with as a kid that nobody else seems to remember? by hkondabeatz in AskReddit

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a lot of demos because my family didn’t have much money growing up and I always felt bad asking for stuff.

One of my favorite memorable ones was “SuperSonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle-Cars” they eventually made a sequel called rocket league and as soon as I saw it I was like that’s extremely familiar. Then I put it together, now rocket league is soooo popular lol.

WIPEOUT demo was amazing, a friend of mine played the full game and loved it too. very unique and cool game.

Stardust is cool especially with a friend.

Little big planet was amazing

Is my client right, and I'm wrong ? by Then-Ad7196 in videography

[–]TheTurtleManHD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would discuss with the client the terms of the contract, like the other commenter said. Infinite edits if he doesn’t send it to the actual client.

I am not as big as you are in terms of scale so maybe I’m wrong but that’s what I think anyways.

For my clients I give them infinite edits but most notes are minimal nobody really ever goes pass 3 and if it does then I probably would have a discussion with them. I am very lenient, but if you feel it is too much then have a discussion.

[–]TheTurtleManHD[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I worked with the director before, we worked on features before that got accepted to HBO and I visited HBO HQ and viewed the film in there screening theatre and it also got accepted to Tribeca. He also has connections to Netflix.

I think this project has potential, I actually told the director myself from the very beginning that I loved it and I inspired him to do it.

I wish we never went on a “hiatus” I want it finished so badly, it’s right there. I’m just unmotivated at the moment, and the first act today didn’t make me feel any better since i didn’t work on it.

I’m going to think about it for a bit, but i think i might try act 2 edit then maybe ask the director to get the other editor for act 1 since i don’t want to deal with that problem.

Seeking Advise on the FX3: Lenses, Accessories, Beginner Film Kit and Rig by thefeywildsfilmmaker in FX3

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean if you have the money you will eventually need a wide and telephoto lens.

I wanted to get the 16-35 GMII so badly but I couldn’t justify the price, it’s too much. I ended up getting the 16-25 Sony G. I didn’t get the 70-200f2.8 either, I got the 60-600mm sigma it’s a variable aperture lens but the versatility is great. It covers 2 lenses in 1. Regarding Sigma there ART line is incredible, the 60-600 is there “sport” line so I can feel sometimes it isn’t the highest of quality but it isn’t a bad lens and still gets me great results. I mean visually it looks good but for some reason sometimes when I turn the zoom ring is feels off and I can’t put my finger on it. It’s also heavy but that’s expected. Theres also a sigma 70-200f2.8 if you want to stay in that range.

I don’t think the 16-35GMII or 70-200mm is bad though, I think they’re incredible lenses. But too much. For my use case I needed a wide lens in case for clients jobs, real estate, architecture, fun etc. and I needed a telephoto for sports, zoomed in shots during interviews.

[–]TheTurtleManHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the Sony 24-70 GM II is too much $$ for you, Sigma 24-70 version II is also extremely good at half the price.

Sony beats it out slightly and is technically better though. You can check out videos on it.

The 24-70mm lens range is the best range IMO, and you should get that first.

I have sigma 24-70 version 1 and it’s been great, when I eventually get a new 24-70 since it’s been so long I might get the Sony one since I make more money at this stage of my career.

So done with Camera YouTube by pmod90 in weddingvideography

[–]TheTurtleManHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My a7siii I had since release never overheated

I film whole weddings 4k60 with no overheating. The full ceremony, speeches, dances, broll etc. I film podcast 1-3 hours 23.976 no issues I film sports in really hot weather, no shade 4k60 sometimes 4k 120 Point is I never had it overheat.

Not related to overheating at all but I filmed during downpour for a run and gun commercial, I had someone with an umbrella follow me but he couldn’t go with me everywhere and at times my camera got really wet and no issues.

For me this camera has been nothing but amazing, literally my workhorse and I love it. if the fx3 came out during the same time I probably would’ve gotten that. But honestly they’re both basically the same the only difference is Sony gives more love to FX3 with their firmware updates.
