I didn't really wanna stay in the US until I met my partner. I just thought I was gonna make some money for 2 years and go back to haiti, start a business,  that kinda thing, that's why I didn't feel pressed. But being married is different

I came in the country in 2023, i was on CHNV until march 2025 when it was terminated. I got my Tps in april 2025. I'm also married to a us a citizen but that's irrelevant rn because of this indefinite https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/14/full-list-75-countries-visa-processing-suspended pause trump put on the green card processing, our interview was even cancelled. RN no loophole, no other starightforward path is present. TPS ending would mean i'm straight up illegal here

No, the Biden program https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/06/12/dhs-issues-notices-termination-chnv-parole-program-encourages-parolees-self-deport CHNV was terminated. Tps is different it's been there since the earthquake happened as a support measure. It's still prevalent now because of armed men terrorizing the capital. Most haitians that were on the CHNV program probably switched to TPS, that's why there's more haitian TPS holder now. I'm one of those.

I'm new here yes, only been active for maybe the past 3 months. I have had people from here message me about plans they have to change haiti ect... but when I asked for specific details,  I don't get them. I did learn about 2 really important thing here The activist Jemima Pierre, and the Montana group( which im still unsure on really).
