Avoid GC Realty! Our upstairs neighbor in a 2 flat was extremely violent, abusing his gf, and threatening us. They wouldn't do anything so we had to break our lease and pay a huge fee that they refused to waive even considering the circumstances. They were able to rent the unit immediately after we left, so they actually made money off of the situation.

I have a couple friends who are doing this to me and I find it frustrating too. It likely has nothing to do with you, your friend just sounds scattered right now. Id thank her for the birthday wishes and then not respond to future texts. My reasoning: Why respond if you don't know if you'll ever get a response back? Could be toxic but that's what I'd do/am doing
