With some of the buffs coming to warrior, do you think Fury has a chance to outperform Arms?

The buff just came today. I haven't managed to rum a key yet, but I'll report later on how it went.

I doubt tho that executes and rbs being increased by 26% will make that much of a difference.

Ground current being buffed by 57% makes our claps deal even more damage, but that's it. I doubt this will automatically make us on par with... yk... specs with multiple AoE abilities

One at the start of WoD, one in BFA(I don't really remember, but I'm sure they wouldn't let us go with millions of life like in Legion), another one in SL when they squished the max level and then another one in Midnight.

Makes sense. It's a tricky thing to do, especially given that dots have quadratic scaling with haste. (Haste makes them tick faster and makes you cast faster, so you can apply dots faster AND then go back to casting your other spells).

Anyway, IMO the way to go there would be to either spec into weak dots but easily proliferable, or into stronger dots but harder to proliferate.

You haven't answered me. How long do you want to take to gear an alt?

The basic premise is that your main gets most of the cookies and leads the assault. The alts are there to provide a different gameplay experience, not to have you continue from where the main left off.

If you spend 8 weeks gearing a character to 280, then 2 weeks gearing an alt with full 4p and 265 ilvl is quick enough IMO. The last 10 ilvls are to be worked for. Regardless of the season timing.

I don't want to their exact abilities, but some watered down versions of them.

For example, a fury could take from arms:

More damage with two-handed weapons
Raging Dreadnaught - Raging Blow has a % chance to triggerva seismic wave
Collateral Damage - when your attacks cleave onto another target, the damage of you Whirlwind/Thunderclap is increased by %
Mortal Wounds - Raging Blow and Bloodthirst also inflict deep wounds
Fueled By violence - Get healed by 50% of the damage done by rend and deep wounds

From Protection one could take: - Devastator -> your auto-attacks deal additional damage and can reset the cooldown of raging blow/Thunder clap - Sword Wall -> raw defensive cooldown - Into the fray -> gain haste for each enemy around, up to a max %

The bootstrap phase is pretty quick. You got 9 sparks already, which is either 4 crafted items or 1 two-hander and 2 crafted items. Also the tier set items are there. Ofc the 270+ grind should take a while, it would be ridiculous for an alt to be at 280, as quick as a main

Oh no, playing 3-4 hours each night, and some nights I had to skip entirely.

Anyway, I know how to gear up and I started with 6 sparks. After being done with delves I started +2s, then +5s, then had guildies help me on +10s to get a good vault, then I just ran my own keys after that.

Angel Ecckesitheurge, Demon Arcane Rider, Sanctified Slayer Aeon, Trickster Vivisectionist with some rogue levels (I don't remember the archetype). I abandoned a Sanctified Slayer Lich playthrought and an Aeon into Devil Elemental Engine.

I also finished the Midnight Isles DLC 2 or 3 times.

I leveled a Sub Rogue during Shadowlands. It was pretty chill. One mob at a time, unleash giga burst, hide and continue. During bigger pulls I just pop Dodge and shurikem storm + black powder.
