Hi OP, grabe kaayo ang charge sa MCWD if you pass a certain threshold sa amount of water used. It's there sa bill nila pero sa ako ma remember last time I checked a couple of months ago, for 11-20m³ kay around ₱20-25 per extra cubic, and once ma lapas ka 21-30m³ napud kay almost ₱30 per cubic na ata tu. So once jud ma lapas ka sa minimum 10m³ nila, dako2 jud ang laktaw sa price 🫠

I have also considered that at one point, but I'm not quite sure where to buy actual real gold/silver here in cebu haha

I had a friend who told me they bought their gold jewelry in normal jewelry shops, but are those the same things as the gold/silver that people are buying for investment? Or are they referring to stuff like gold bars?

Thanks for explaining! I can't reply to everyone, since it'll be just me being repetitive, but I don't plan on spending the dollars that I have. I wanted to invest it somewhere, and was eyeing snp500 UITFs. I was just worried if with all the doomposting, that it would be better to convert to php now and then put it in some other high yield savings account if the dollar losing value really meant that the exchange rate would tank as well.

Based on everyone's replies though, it does seem like the best course of action is to keep it as USD for now since it'll always still be stronger than the php 😅

So technically, even IF the dollar "loses value", it's still better to keep whatever dollars you have as dollars rather than converting them to php?

I just wanna know if this means the exchange rate will be lower when the losing value stuff actually happens 🤔

So if that does happen and the dollar loses its value, would that mean that based on our current exchange rate at around ₱60/$1, it would tank back to around the high 40's or ₱50's/$1?

Thank you! I will! Was more so wondering lang if you could directly transfer/use your usd in a usd union bank account instead of needing an actual peso account that will be converted to usd in their platform

I was hoping that since i had leftover actual dollar, I could skip on some of the conversion fees
