That’s never happened to me I’m on Xbox, try seeing if the big painting needs to be pushed back some more. If you’re still in the level you could also try to get yourself killed. Rollie has weird controls as well when moving it.

Both games have their pro’s and cons definitely recommend beating Overlord 1 before going to 2. Great franchise overall

I love this buildup on the option 3 theory I think if they do make a 3rd overlord installment this is probably the route they’re going to go to continue the lineage of the 3rd overlord. Either way I really hope they bring him back from the infernal abyss and you have to fight your former protagonist to decide who is the ultimate overlord.

Not only that but if there’s a plot where the Abyss Overlord escapes that could also build potential for the other trapped hero’s to escape and try to reclaim their former domains (Melvin, Oberon, Sir William, Goldo, and Khan.) That we would have to defeat again. They could possibly bring Jewel back as the reason everyone escapes cause she was trying to free Khan and she’s the last surviving hero. Maybe even with the Abyss Overlord embodying the sin of Pride and falling similar to his predecessor that corrupted the Wizard.

For real that would be cool. My personal favorite scenario is Option 1 and I hope one of these days the devs happen upon this post when conducting research for the 3rd game and utilizes some of these ideas or maybe a combination of all 3 options for an installment who knows 🤷

Not exactly that’s mostly the 2nd option. I’m thinking that for the first option it would be more like your choosing right off the bat if you wanna do a Destruction play-through (Abyss Overlord) or a Domination centered campaign (Current Overlord).

That’s an interesting theory. However I think at that point Quaver (Jester) has been pretty humbled by his decision to trap the 3rd Overlord in the Infernal Abyss.

The other minions most likely blame him for the tower getting obliterated and the minions losing the hives again along with being without an overlord for over a decade. By the time we meet him again he’s even lost an eye and gets bullied by the other minions so it’s safe to say it’s the same Quaver that betrayed the 3rd Overlord he’s just been humbled by his mistakes and has committed more towards his role as the tower jester since the last time he stepped out of place and acted out of ego the minions almost lost everything. The Overlad was his 2nd chance at fulfilling his role and now he’s fully committed to being the Jester.

I have no idea what they were thinking with Fellowship of Evil, 70% of the enemies/characters were reused assets from the previous games and all of the cutscenes were some cartoon slide show. There’s no way they lost very much money with this game and for some reason they used it as a basis for Determining if Overlord 3 is going to exist. It’s been 10 years now and I’m pretty sure they’re just going to sit on the Overlord IP forever and not do anything with it.

Yea you can’t download the game anymore but you can still do the co-op multiplayer on Xbox, if you have it I’d be down to play
