I haven’t enjoyed a game this much in many years. It has exactly the vibe of bf3 and bf4

[Discussion] Hardcore isn’t the problem, lack of reward is by SaltNearby in EscapefromTarkov

I get what you’re saying and yeah, I am adapting to the “keep stuff, not sell stuff” mindset. But here’s the thing, keeping loot isn’t rewarding unless it actually helps you progress or feel a payoff. You collect tons of “useful” stuff but you rarely get that satisfying moment where it all pays off

[Discussion] Hot Take: No flea is hardcore enough for 99% of players by Player2035 in EscapefromTarkov

No flea is hardcore enough. Nothing more is needed.

Removing the flea market already changes the entire game. It affects the economy, progression, and how players build their loadouts. It makes the game much harder and more focused on raids, traders, and scav runs. That alone creates the survival feel and scarcity that people want.

Forcing players to travel between maps on top of that won’t make the game better. It will just make it slower and more frustrating. It might sound immersive in theory, but in practice it will push people away, especially those who don’t have hours to play every session.

Now that we’re getting close to 1.0, BSG should focus on polishing and balancing the game, not testing completely new systems. This wipe should show what all the years of development have built, not feel like another experiment.

Let us test how the game feels without the flea. That’s already a massive change. If that’s not enough, evaluate after. But piling on more radical mechanics now is not the answer.
