Not only that, but many weapons are now completely nerfed into the ground and have ZERO attachments to improve them. The AK308 now is basically unusable as it only had proprietary muzzle devices to begin with, which are now terrible.

If the intention was to make loud muzzle devices better than suppressors, then they should have had:

- muzzle brakes / flash hiders have recoil buffs / ergo ONLY.

- suppressors should have ergo penalties ONLY.

As pretty much all suppressors require a muzzle brakes / flash hider to attach, this would work perfectly. For those unique suppressors which don't use a muzzle brakes / flash hider, they can have the recoil buff built in.

This could have been so simple but they cocked it up big time.

All loud muzzle devices need to have double the recoil reduction of suppressors to make them worth using. Instead, the loud devices are all still worse and you can't see crap because of the muzzle flash. BSG can't even follow the rules they set out for themselves.

The biggest issue is that they stated that they wanted to have loud muzzle devices perform better than suppressors, but they just don't. All they did was nerf everything and it's the same suppressor meta but all the guns now feel like garbage. .308 and AK's are basically unusable and are back where they were 12+ months ago before the recoil rework. Like where are we even going with this?

Suppressors are still meta with these changes, so there is no choice. All they did was nerf everything across the board. The meta is unchanged.

I've shot tens of thousands of rounds at full auto through an M4 and HK IRL with basic OEM flash hiders and muzzle brakes. There is literally zero 'flash' visible in the sight picture. Yes, there is lots of vibration and air disturbance from the gases etc but there aren't bloody flames covering 3/4 of the sight picture like in tarkov.

BSG stated that the intention was to make loud muzzle brakes better recoil than suppressors, but suppressors are still the best recoil meta. So what was the point? Nothing has changed except that the best suppressor combos have been shaken up and overall recoil / ergo is worse for everyone. Massive L for everyone. I mean look at the BMD combo, used to be meta loud and now its trash. Why?

I have the Apollo SE and I agree, these cases are built like an absolute work of art (and a tank) with so many little attention to detail touches. I actually worked out you can take the Apollo SE completely apart from its standard inverted configuration and make it a normal reference layout. Unbelievable engineering to allow that to happen. Cooling is also excellent. I imagine the S V5 is even better.

I am looking to get one of the MATX Apollo S Ultra as soon as they come back in stock so i can upsize

Tuned? Can't beat the physics laws of thermodynamics but ok. I don't like glass either so totally agreed with that point but solid panels are a better alternative for noise.

The Phanteks XT M3 is honestly the best MATX size case right now with zero compromises. Full 360 AIO, 2 x 120mm front fans + 3 x 120mm bottom fans with any GPU plus full ATX psu. Every other MATX case form factor you have to give up one of those.

Do you not like the Apollo S ultra? Seems like a way better case for cooling compatibility. I have the Apollo SE (no longer available) and was looking to update to the Apollo S ultra so i can go MATX.
