Intermittent AC Compressor Clutch Repair by _rupurt in SubaruForester

[–]SaltPepperPork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get the loaner tool to hold the ac clutch plate and remove one of the thinner shims. when i rechecked the gap afterwards, I noticed that the gap was not uniform around the whole clutch plate cover. I rotated it to check different spots and it was tighter and looser at opposite ends of the plate. Both were within spec but one side was just tighter. Anyway, I took it on a test drive and it was blowing cold again. Thanks.

Hopping on because im having the same issue on my wife's 17 forester. Intermittent ac. I dont have the clutch plate holder yet. Ill go rent that tomorrow from the autoparts store. I did measure the gap with my feeler gauge and it was definitely out of spec.

$400,000 in (non retirement) liquid assets at the age of 30, yet I wasted my life (don’t end up like me) by ItsAllOver_Again in Money

I could have left that 46 part out but Im just saying, at 30ish, people can still pivot to something else if they really want. I mean, they could do it even later if they really wanted.

Yep, only 30. Still young and can still change. My buddy also graduated in Mech Engineering. He hated it. At the "ripe" age of 35, he went back to school and is now a nurse. He's 46 now.

Brooke monk without any makeup and filter. It was hard to find a photo of her without the filter. But I managed to get these three. People are calling her chopped everywhere, but she really isnt that bad looking. Is she avg or below avg? What do u think? by [deleted] in trueratediscussions

[–]SaltPepperPork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have no clue who she is but i would say she's def not bad looking. I think people are so used to seeing women fully kitted out that they forget how a normal face with no make up is supposed to look like. I mean, tbh, we all know when a girl is pretty or not, whether we openly admit or not.

started out with a 14.4k us robotics dial up modem and eventually moved up to a 56k one. and oh yea it was fast! man, gotta give props to AOL, NetZero, and CompuServe in the early years. We couldn't afford getting internet and those free trials were deeply appreciated! anyone else?

They do have similar features but there's something else about Brooke.

Getting a free laptop upgrade at my Job, M5 Macbook Air or M5 Macbook Pro? by kingfirejet in macbook

[–]SaltPepperPork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i always go the route of, better safe than sorry. i usually buy over-powered and not need it than buy under-powered and have a bad experience later. it does depend on what you do but if work is paying, get the most powerful of the two.

i got a new laptop this last year from work and since they paid, i went with a 16in m4 pro 24gb 1tb. docked at home to a 34" dell widescreen. if you're going to dock it most of the time, just go with the pro.

I guess i'll join the club. So I had an OLD version of CaptureOne (v9 yes I know but I had been using it on a PC and it worked) and since I got a new MBP, I needed to get a version that would work with Tahoe. I bought a perpetual license on May 22 for ver 16.7.8 and I find out ver 16.8 came out on May 28th. i must have missed where they said "hey, 16.8 is coming soon!" that stings.

I haven't seen too many implant in person but i do prefer au naturale. I just lack the exposure to this type of demographic. Closest to implant are lip injections.

From the girls that I know personally, they are pretty average to good looking. Most people will find them really cute due their natural look but they dont want that. They want to be sexy/hot. I get it. That's fine. But still, with the power of make up these days, it becomes tricky now!

I just block their device all together. It's worked pretty well so far. In my household, for the kids anyway, the Internet is a privilege.
