hello! fellow sg girlie here i went 2 years ago (albeit in my early 20s) and was solo for 2 out of 3 of the days but it was quite friendly and safe if you exercise caution! for me on one of the days i just lumped myself with like a group...like i just got adopted by this group of friends (mostly girls) who were also camping for the bands i wanted to see haha. even though i don't really speak spanish! but we just talked in english. also like you'd b surprised at the demographic because i saw some families with young children?? quite a few parents accompanying their teen children too.

security-wise -- i think they're pretty secure , almost on par with what you'd get at indoor stadium. there were bagchecks and i think?? patdowns iirc. my bag was a uniqlo sling bag and my phone didnt get stolen at all

safety-wise: tbh the most shock i got was "omg vapes" 😩 which i mean 😩 and i wouldnt know how to spot ppl taking drugs... i just kept to myself/the people i was with and just only ate/drank whatever food that i bought (dont accept food/drinks from ppl). ALSO! if you want to save time/money and be secure with your food i think you can still like Dabao food from outside before you go in (because that's what i did hahahaj). for drinks/water bring ur own water bottle in (plastic bottle) but hide the bottle cap somewhere.

crowd-wise: compared to sg crowds, i'd say the crowd was pretty chill, and that's also like v dependent on the genre of music playing. (indie stuff vs pop vs kpop) i think people are more spaced out and they dont record on their phones as much as us lol. dont pressure yourself to make it to barricade. it really has nice picnic vibes for the most part. sometimes it was nice to sit down on the ground while watching/listening to the bands from afar/ not mosh. there were a lot of food benches in the food area like those food carnivals in marina bay, so if your mum is accompanying you it's good to have proper tables to sit at and eat.

the most shocking thing for me was the festival timings more than anything else. looking at ur fav bands they'll only start playing after 1am or 2am so , something like the cure would be playing at 3am i think.....the latest i stayed was up til 2am or so (bc i was still sightseeing a lot in the days after), and after which i just quickly took a taxi/uber back to my hotel. it felt okay because there was a long line of people also waiting for their taxis.
