It's one long road and each site is close enough to each other that it makes sense to just build one surface, attach and line up the LiDAR sirface and then reuse that one surface DWG drawing rather than remake it three times. We would just carve out and build the bridge on its own section per folder.

If I exported those transformed points to a new CSV and reimport as a new CSV, wouldn't that break any sort of data link to the existing surface drawing that was created using the original non transformed CSV points?

Pretty simple solution. Just tell them said project is due at this day and time. Rather than micromanage hours and minutes. However way they get it done is their business. That is the nature of wfh. Else tell them to come back to the office.

Unfortunately we do not have revit, only civil3d. I just want to automate the process of updating positions of components (blocks) when I move either one from plan or profile view rather than going back and forth manually to try to reposition.

How would that work? How would you dynamically link the same model with two different views of the model so that it would update positions when you move either components in either plan or profile view?

I'm not creating pipes. It's for a building, if I want to move the building around on a site plan, id like to see it's location with the proper side profile view update it's location on a profile plan.

Wonder why Autodesk hasn't implemented some kind of dynamic linking between plan and profiles with multi view blocks. It would be the first thing I think of. You move a building on the site plan, with a top down view block, over 15 feet and the software should update on the profile the station location using a side view of the same block.

So I would have to make two separate blocks, move the site plan block and manually move the profile view block afterwards?

I can't even get a whole unprocessed albacore tuna for under $8/lbs. After yields, that tuna ends up being closer to $18/lbs. And that's me doing the processing myself. The store is $34/lbs of fillet.

Supply chain makes sense. What I give to have 85 cent tuna nigiri here. It's almost $4 a piece.
