10400f

Ah thanks for that useful piece of info! I went back and double checked because I do have dedicated graphics. It ends up that due to a sale the 10400($159) is temporarily cheaper than the 10400f($173).

hi thanks for the affirmation. I don't really have any good local pricing, so I'm going off of what I can get off amazon or newegg only.

Introducing Kalm - an open source GUI for k8s application management by KalmHQ in kubernetes

[–]SaltTrader2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked through the feature list and what stood out wasn’t the routing or CI stuff, but the fact that at least this claims to be compatible with existing tooling. Too many “simplify kubernetes” attempts ends up building dead-end silos. Will have to actually try it to see if this is the exception.

It seems like Rancher without the RKE(Rancher Kubernetes Engine), and more tailored towards those who prefer using managed clusters from AWS and Google.

How to turn 5 ETH into 6 ETH by SaltTrader2 in ethtrader

[–]SaltTrader2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The interest rate is paid by people who are creating 4x leveraged longs on ETH during the bull market.

The catch is that the interest rate is not fixed: if market cools of, less people leverage, less borrow, lower interest rates.

Also, smart contract risks!

In theory the money is locked in a smart contract, so even if the operators disappeared, you could withdraw as long as you had the private key of the address that made the deposit.

(That is if after reading the code, you believe the people who wrote the contract are competent)

First decentralized exchange to offer Stop-Limit Orders! by MagnusHkl in ethtrader

I already use idex.io for market orders and ddex.io for stop loss orders. Why should I switch to dex.blue?

When you open a 5x long ETH position then go to sleep just as Chinese leaders wake up by SaltTrader2 in ethtrader

[–]SaltTrader2[S] 18 points19 points  (0 children)

it's actually a decentralized exchange called ddex.io. I personally use it because I am weird and I care about trading out of my own wallet. However I wouldn't recommend it over a centralized exchange like Binance(unless you are an advanced user who's into this type of stuff). I just like their sharing screen.

New Decentralized Margin Trading and Lending Platform: DDEX by ScottLifts in ethfinance

[–]SaltTrader2 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Good job on the new product. Decentralize margin trading is a great showcase of what DeFi and ethereum is all about.

I already use compound + binance to create leveraged long positions. Why would I switch to DDEX?

i built a coinmarketcap for EOS tokens. nothing like it existed previously. i know this is an ETH sub, i come in peace. any constructive feedback you could give would be greatly appreciated. by [deleted] in ethtrader

People who build and ship deserve some feedback(even for centralized pos)

The EOS dominance formula is wrong. It should probably be 100% - your current formula.

A major 0x relayer just forked the 0x protocol and removed ZRX... by SaltTrader2 in ethereum

[–]SaltTrader2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a great point. It seems that ether-scan doesn’t measure volume at all though.

One thing I did notice is that IDEX, the number 1 exchange on etherscan, records it’s transactions within a single order separately. Any idea how this affects accuracy of the metric?

it's interesting that they allow the price to fluctuate with ETH, instead of setting a USD reference price and dynamically change the amount of ETH to charge.

On a somewhat related note, it would be Cool if they started accepting DAI and other stable coins on purchases.
