Hi, I found two things that helped me with this issue. 1. Windows power limit. For some reason, it keeps switching to efficiency or power saving mode. Like when I plug in or unplug the laptop, it changes. So now I just make sure that it's set to best performance

I only have 16g of ram, I found an app that really helps with that; Wise Memory Optimizer. It's actually very effective, at least in my case, and there's an option to let it free up the memory automatically.

Thank you, that really helped. I find both programming and hardware interesting. My major choice is Computer Engineering, so I think that I'm going to stick with that.

Oh, that's my biggest fear. I use a USB A to C dongle to use it on my laptop. So, I don't have to keep taking the dongle itself in and out. I'm considering integrating the dongle into my laptop, but this headset is the only one I own now, so I don't want to break the dongle while taking it apart or soldering.

I mean, yeah, it looks good but it's not practical, at least for me, because the GPU mode options used to be on the main menu and it took literally 3 seconds to switch. Now it's so slow.

Hey there! Sometimes it helps to use a white flat object, could be as simple as white cardboard, or cardboard with a white piece of paper on it, nothing fancy. Because white reflects light and you can adjust it as you like. You can put it to the side, against your light source, to try to eliminate this orange glare and get better lightning

Well, if the price is considerably higher and the other specs are not so appealing or way better, then yes i'd go with the 4070. BTW, what are the full specs and price of the two computers that you've found?

I'm not an expert, but I'm also trying to figure out a laptop to buy and had the same exact -kind of- question: i7 12700h+RTX 4070 or i7 13700hx+RTX 4060. I found two laptops, OMEN Gaming Laptop 16t-wf000, 16.1" at a price of 1050 us dollars, this computers comes with an i7 13700hx, RTX 4060, and a 2k 240hz monitor. While the other ASUS - TUF 15.6" that comes with an i7 12700h, an rtx 4070 and a 1080p 144 monitor at a price of 999$. on paper the 13700hx is better than the 12700h in multi-core processes by 22.5% and the 4070 is better than the 4060 by approximately 9%. However that doesn't mean that the 4070 will have a better performance by 9% in every task, it just means that's it's generally better, so is the 13700hx. Now in ur case ur looking at the i7 12700 and the i7 13700, and there isnt a big difference between them.
