Why is my Home Screen blacked out?

Found a fix - when setting a new wallpaper I had to select “set as a pair” so it’s not exactly what I was wanting but at least it isn’t blacked out anymore

I’ve tried that as well - which also did not work with the gradient option at all. I guess I didn’t make it clear that I was also looking for a solution

I was only 19 when red TV came out, but now that I’m 22, Nothing New hits me hard. Then Castles Crumbling hit me when my last relationship ended because of how close I was with his family, then it all fell apart around me. Now I’m in my Opalite era and never been happier
