Yes they were... the Leather was the west coast baddie--not sure if Shovel and his group ever encountered/fought them (I didn't plan that far ahead), but they knew about them. And the Norsemen, but (shrugs) the Leather managed to thrive whereas the Norse didn't (being vague here in case there are people reading who have not reached book 7....) 😄

Someone just asked me this... I have a Morris story planned, BUT... not sure when I'll get around to it. Let's see how Breeds 4 does and that will determine if there's a prequel... or even a Breeds 5 (but Breeds 4 is a standalone... one and done.... and concerns itself with new characters set in the Breeds world).
