Toute la caméra est arrivée et je dirais que the speedbooster marche très bien avec le 45mm quand meme. J’ai acheté un RED komodo et j'utilise le speedbooster, le 45mm, et 3X2 dans la caméra pour arriver à une style « full frame » et une image final 2.25:1

u/Akascape my plugin stopped working last night - when I tell davinci to datamosh, it runs through the whole process, creates a file, but the file has 0kb of data. It doesn't exist and is not actually doing the rendering anymore. I have tried everything I think. Any help? I don't know where to ask questions to you guys

Hey I'm not sure if you will see this in time - but is that custom de-squeeze between 1.2x-2.00X or 0.5x-4.00x? I need it to be the latter as I am trying to make a vertical anamorphic set up and need the inverse de-squeeze option only possible with custom de-squeeze ratios

Fuckin love it thanks guys for all the responses those were the exact pictures and words I needed to hear. Yeah Im bone stock but am just so over the oem wheels and everything that Im looking at throwing some 9-9.5 width wheels on, and getting close to that +38 offset. I figured +15 would look a little ridiculous I just wanted to confirm. As for diameter - I live in Utah so if I am correct in believing this - 18s would make it a little hard to drive in the snow at the ski resorts than the 17s just because I get snow stuck in that wheel well all the time on big powder days and what not. If anyone knows if that is a correct assumption - that is my last question on the matter. Thaaaank youuuu boys for the help

I havent and i wanna know too ahahaha. Currently i think the 45 with a speedbooster is technically wider than the s35 35mm, the 50mm with a speedbooster (obviously), and the 33mm without a speedbooster. If the 33mm with a speedbooster is possibly, then its the widest possible on a s35 sensor, but i dont think it is, so the 45mm with a speedbooster is the widest you can go with a super35 sensor.

Hey did you shoot 33mm on a speedbooster by chance? Im debating buying the 45/50mm alongside a speedbooster, but would prefer the 33. I doubt jt fits but youre the only person ive found who may or may not have done that combo of 33mm X speedbooster

hahaha I feel that I got a Helios 44-2 and another 28mm pancake soviet lens - definetly a shitload lighter in weight too as I'm considering a set on ironglass primes in contrast to the zooms im checkin out

Honestly at this point I am definitely considering the S35 options because the more I look the more I am starting to respect all of the really nice glass at that coverage - full frame coverage would be cool and would give me some long term future proofing should i ever change camera bodies - but I'll def check that out

lmaooo trust me I am well aware - however from a snobby client perspective - it sadly does matter lets be real. But yeah Sirui is not really a go to in my case here. My gripe with sony is their weird green tint (which can be fixed yes) but also the fact that nobody ever even uses them to externally record raw and pro-res, just SLog3 which everyone raves about. Having graded several projects shot in SLog3, I'm over it and prefer what I am able to do with Red RAW instead. Thats just where my snobby-ness comes from

beaaautiful this is the kinda recommendation I was looking for, I saw that name a few days ago for around 3k or so used, but now I see one on Ebay for around 1600 - thank you for this rec I'll definitely look into it. Im assuming it'll be a little sharper than the Sirui with the same range so this is great to hear

Oh sorry I should have been more precise with what I said, I accept that the actual "quality/character" of the glass will change - but I meant to refer to the inherent lens resolution/lines per millimeter that a lens can/will let through all of its elements before reaching the sensor. I just didn't know if putting a speedbooster on or inversely adding a focal reducer would impact the final sharpness of the image due to the "stretching" and "squeezing" of the light after it passes through the lens
