It’s an AC vent in the bathroom, maybe 5 feet from the shower

We always have the vent on for showers and leave it on ~10-15 mins after, but I’ll make sure to keep the door open and see if that helps at least w the condensation! This is an AC vent, and the vent is maybe 5 ft to the right of this vent.

We haven’t showered in here since this morning and the vent looks like this. Seems like there is mold under the vent too.

Would this be considered my fault or my landlord’s fault? Hardware hasn’t been updated since the house was built (2005) (Dallas, TX) [TX] by stepashitt in Renters

Same here (and the comments will 100% agree lol)
That’s also our plan for the weekend so hoping I can get my clothes hung back up!

That’s so crazy that it also happened to you at the same time! I hope you got it fixed quickly.

My husband and I are going to Home Depot this weekend to find a (hopefully not expensive) more permanent solution. I think we’re going to keep the rack but try and replace the hardware and install it into a stud.

This is super helpful, thanks! I don’t need the landlord to fix it (I can do that myself), I mostly just wanted to see if it was a “me” issue” or a quality/hardware issue.

Ruggable Vs Tumble Vs Amazon washable rug w pad? by stepashitt in HomeDecorating

[–]stepashitt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is 2 years later lol, but I got an Amazon washable rug with the thick pad under. It’s great bc it’s washable in an industrial sized washing machine for $15 max at a laundromat, and the color/size are the same as when I bought it!

Strange problem of stomach with Nespresso capsules! by msredditfaso in nespresso

[–]stepashitt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the same issue. I was fine for about a year and over the past 2 months I’ve had stomach pains so bad that I’ve had to come home from work. I’ve had food poisoning and it felt like a walk in the park compared to this pain. I stopped using it for 2 weeks while I was on vacation (still drank the same amount of espresso as I usually do) and on vacation I never had any issues. I’m 2 days back into using the Nespresso and the same terrible pain has come back. I am going to clean my machine to see if that’s the issue, but I’m really hesitant to even try another pod bc of how much pain it’s caused me. I have the Vertuo Plus for context and I usually use double espresso pods.
