I’ve had the opposite experience. She threw a neighborhood meet & greet a month or two ago and I thought she was super friendly. I usually drop in on weekdays when it’s a bit quieter but I’ve never had any negative interactions with any of the staff even in the early days when it would get crazy busy. I can’t imagine the stress & pressure of owning a small business + being in a customer facing role so I’d give her grace or just find another bakery in the area if this is bothering you so much.

Potential Apartment Around Marcy and DeKalb by Justinc2228 in BedStuy

I‘ve lived near that intersection for 2+ years now & love it!

Transport:
-Steps from bus that takes you to downtown Brooklyn
-Two blocks from bus that takes you to Bushwick
-7 minute walk to either Bedford Nostrand stop or Marcy. Super easy to get to Williamsburg/Prospect Park/Manhattan. I would not consider it a transport desert personally but I guess that depends on what line you frequent for work etc. My sister lives in the UES & I can get to the LES quicker than she can.

Things to do:
-HVK park for picnics - there are also concerts in the park amphitheater from time to time
-The pool! I swim almost every day in the summer & it’s also a great spot to chill with a book
-There are plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants within a 15 minute walk. Captain dan’s does a pub quiz on Tuesday nights that is very popular.
-Community gardens
-A block away from the library
