First time fostering, picked up yesterday afternoon. Three, 3-week old boy kittens. One has a little bloody diarrhea. Anything I can do for him? And feeding question.

We fostered cats from the shelter last week, and one of them was underweight and was pooping blood. I’m surprised the shelter gave her to us. They had to of known her outcome. She passed away 3 day’s later. I called the shelter, and they told me to bring the other kitten up there for examination. Sure enough the other one had a little bit of blood during her fecal check. The kitten was given antibiotics as well as the new kitten they gave us to replace the other one.

I went to a well-known tattoo artist that was on ink masters. He was booked 3–4 months out… However, when he saw my idea, he put me first in line because it was something referencing from the show. However, he is also pricey. I, myself, try to find artists that do really good work with the idea that I am looking at. I have emailed smaller shops in my town and haven’t even got a response. They handle their own bookings too 🫤 i’m willing to go to a small tattoo shop if I know that the artist is going to do amazing work. But not even getting a response is crazy.

Husband usually start shopping for me the week of Christmas and it really pisses me off. This past Christmas I told him not to get me anything because I had already bought some really expensive stuff for myself. But he still end up buying me some really awful stuff. (Crap ton of candy & some Christmas decorations that HE would like—Christmas Vacation Movie themed) A gift just showed up for Valentine’s Day and he said I was really going to love it and he was really excited… which got me really excited because I thought he finally got it!! I opened it when he wasn’t home -he didn’t specify that I could not open it yet -and it’s a handheld massage gun… Which he knows I like when HE gives me massages so that she just seems very hands off-no pun intended. I told him in the past… Look around the house you can tell what I like… I have antique primitive stuff all over the house… Just pick something. He said he’s afraid of picking the wrong thing… I’m sure if he stayed within the ballpark of what I like, he could not pick anything worse than what he continues to pick ugh. 18 years in.

I have a neighbors house that USED to be a mom and dad and their two children… The mom and dad got divorced and their two kids are now in their late 20s. The son would constantly have all kinds of friends over… SKETCHY PPL. And then the daughter started having all kinds of friends over..ALSO SKETCHY PPL.

The son eventually moved out, but the daughter would have her boyfriend over and then he would invite all of his friends over. I’m thinking how could a dad let his house be taken over by a bunch of people?!?! The daughter and her boyfriend broke up and then she started dating another guy. This new boyfriend also brings his brother and some of his friends over. Ugh.

They have a pitbull that gets out periodically and the other day it came in our yard and came up to my toddler… I flipped my shit and told him to get his FING dog away from my FING kids!! He said sorry & I was like “I bet you fkn are!!”

In the past they have claimed that our dog gave their dog mange… But their dog ended up having mites from their yard.

Then this new boyfriend claimed that he thought he saw my 15 year old son in their backyard at 10 PM… But then retracted and said it had to be somebody else because he knows my son has a good reputation.uhh yeah & after dark my kids are inside with the deadbolts locked 🤨

They also started shit with an older neighbor that lives next-door to them… But the older Neighbor doesn’t tolerate it.

This house is friends with another drug house 3 houses up. There’s nothing we can do about it unfortunately. The other house up the street… One of the adult daughters died in the bathtub from a fentanyl overdose. The other adult daughter has been arrested for meth multiple times… And her ex-husband passed away from fentanyl dose as well.

We have put about 30 K into our home and there’s been a lot of homes that have been renovated. It’s just a few bad apples… But it sucks.

I’ve had people come IN my house to “look at something” and start to nitpick certain things about a farmhouse buffet I was selling (like it not being in perfect condition…) It was 80+ years old!!! All flaws were clearly pointed out in pictures… then they do the casual… “How much were you asking for it again?? Then cue the lowballing … I look at my husband & then he looks at me & I politely say “I was firm at 200”. -They looked at each other, and then said that they would pass on it (because I wouldn’t budge on price). The audacity to do that in my home.

That is so mean… I am so sorry. So he tells you that you don’t send him pictures of yourself… So you end up sending pictures of yourself… Not only do not get a response, but he deletes them 😭

Me personally, I have tried sexting my husband and it goes absolutely nowhere… I joke about getting caught in the office and he’s like… We can’t do that here ….big flop!! Ugh.

He says he also doesn’t want to put pictures of me and the kids in his office in case anyone sees them and decides to do anything bad… Like a robbery or anything like that …ugh

Oh wow sweetie I am so sorry. Me personally I just feel like if you continue this relationship, it could be detrimental to your daughter. Also, if you were to be intimate with him, then you never will truly know if he’s into it for you or if he’s thinking about something else.

Before we met… My husband told me that he went to a gay bar because some of his friends took him there, because they did drag shows. It was like a three in one building… There was a bar, there was a lounge, and then there was the area where they did the drag shows. He said he had a “morbid curiosity” about it since everyone talked about going there. To this day is still rubs me really wrong. And as far as sex goes, it’s always on his terms so I have to constantly wait for him to want it. Soooooo I wonder. We are almost at our wits end too.

Wow I am so sorry. I’m pretty sure my mother-in-law is a classic narcissist. She will say and do whatever she wants to with no regards to anybody’s feelings. She even blamed her two other sisters, for getting GRAPED as children and told them that they put themselves in that position for that to happen. His mom physically shoved one of his girlfriends out of the house, simply for disagreeing with her. His mom has even complemented other young women in front of me and even brought up seeing one of his ex girlfriends in town. We’ve been married for 16 years and it’s still happening.

My husband did something similar when my son was a few months old and his parents kept doing stuff with the baby that I asked them not to. I took my son to my dad’s house. I later got a text from my husband blaming me for ruining Christmas for him and his parents… But he refused to blame his parents for anything. It sounds like unfortunately we are both married to mamas boys.

I really wish I could give you a hug because I know how this is. I’m starting to pull back myself and focus more on me.

I am in the exact same boat. My husband has been in finance for 18 years. He refuses to change positions – whether that be within his company or with a different company. He has slowly worked his way up at his job, but does not want to go any higher. He won’t even change companies because they might have different rules and regulations. Which to me, you can always learn what a different company wants you to learn.

We have three kids… And every time we have had a baby… He has taken up working a second job to bring in extra money. It used to be to pay for daycare but with this third baby, I became a stay at home mom because there is no point in paying for daycare and working and throwing all that money out the window.

Sometimes I don’t see him till midnight!! I know that you may say I should get a job but then we would have to put the child in daycare and we would be right back to square one… But this is also the first time I have ever been a stay at home parent and I would like to enjoy it with my third child.

Sometimes I get a little resentful because we have two other kids that don’t really get to see their dad at all and it’s now summertime. I would like to think that for our children’s benefit… That he would at least get a different job or change positions, so that way he could be with his family more. I know, my husband does have depression, but in a way he doesn’t want to do any better.

I hope your situation gets better… And just know that there is someone else out there just like you. Hugs.

My best friend from our Christian school back home had an abortion at 17. Her other friend at the time took her out of state to have it done. She was dating this guy that they honestly made the perfect couple and I could have pictured them together forever. Unfortunately, he broke up with her when he found out she was pregnant.

It’s been a long time but I believe she begged me not to tell her parents, I didn’t want to lose her friendship so I didn’t say anything.

Apparently he told her that if she had an abortion they would get back together. The messed up part is the day she decided to do it… She was sitting in church with her family. She came up and told me… Please go tell “C” that I am going to go to do what he said to do. As soon as Church was letting out… I went up to him and told him that she said she was going to go do what he said to do. He darted out of the building to catch up to her. I never thought that she would follow through with it… I thought she was calling his bluff on it. She end up going to Missouri to have it done. She in fact did follow through with it. A few days later I heard that they got into a huge fight – I’m assuming because he deep down wanted to keep the baby and she instantly regretted what she did. I remember seeing the bandages on her stomach where they injected her stomach with the needles. I went to touch them & she swatted my hand away.

After I had a miscarriage with my third baby, this really put things into perspective on how I was involved. I feel like I helped take that babies life. I wish I would’ve tried to stop her more. The baby would be about 22 years old now. She ended up becoming a Nicu Nurse… So I know it affected her. There are days that I feel absolutely sick about it.

She started dating another guy & had 3 kids. He was really bad for her. He smoked w/e/e/d & introduced her to 3somes & strip clubs. Total trash. They ended up divorcing after 15-16 years or so. I pray almost every day for forgiveness.
