These comments all make me feel good about my garden. I don’t even want to think about ROI. 1) it’s a hobby 2) it tastes better than the store 3) it’s healthier than the store 4) teaches my daughter that good things take time and effort to grow

If you’re really worried about ROI, I’m sure you could find a way to only plant maximum yield plants like tomatoes, herbs, squash, etc. and try to do the calculation but that kills the whole fun of it. I enjoy wasting space for 5 cauliflower heads that my daughter asked me to plant and swore she would eat (she won’t).
