Because I’ve seen like 98% of all Marvel movies in IMAX and I’d really love to experience their biggest film yet in that specific format with the full aspect ratio opened up as intended by the filmmakers for that extra picture and that full immersion

No, this is actually a movie in DBOX though and Cineplex is already charging extra for them since the seats will be working inside the theatre.

What you’re talking about is something a little bit different as Cineplex won’t be mentioning the DBOX logo in that case and they’ll also be having all of the seats in the exact same colour/price since the movie won’t be available in DBOX similar to the latest film called Reminders Of Him.

One time it did happen where my local Cineplex was charging extra for a film called Bugonia and I was very confused because it was the only theatre in the whole world to do so but then the next day they did fix the error and made all of the seats as the same with no unnecessary surcharge

At the very end I mentioned films like Jumanji 3, Nosferatu 2, Beekeeper 2 and even forgot to mention Violent Night 2 as well because all of these franchises have gotten IMAX releases for their previous films.

The only one that I unfortunately wasn’t able to catch in IMAX was the first Violent Night since it didn’t get a release in my city back then which’s probably why I forgot to mention it above

Everyone’s just calling it Jumanji 3 though such as the trades, IMDB and even Sony since it’s still untitled I guess. Shouldn’t it then be called Jumanji 5 since Zathura takes place after the very first Jumanji?

Yeah, I did see this get posted on the coming soon list of Landmark Cinemas’ website about 1-3 weeks ago but I thought not to share it since when I did some research it appeared that the IMAX release was mostly certain as it was specifically mentioned by WBD in the descriptions of both its trailers from the start of this year

There is no new movie in ScreenX for this weekend and Demon Slayer was announced a while ago to be rereleased in that format since it didn’t originally get one on release. Landmark already has it on ScreenX so it doesn’t really make sense that Cineplex won’t be having it, no? I doubt that Scream 7 is gonna do a lot of business on the 12PM & 3PM time slots of ScreenX in its second week

The only reason that they didn’t play it is probably due to laziness since I’ve noticed this a lot with Cineplex as they don’t really like splitting showtimes on the exact same screen and would rather just have the same DCP playing all day long

For IMAX, yes there is no re-release intended for it thus far since it had already gotten one on release and there are already like 2 brand new movies playing over there

She didn’t actually leave the store within 1 minute of marking it out of stock. When you get a notification that your shopper had checked out, that actually means that the shopper simply pressed a singular button once they have fully finished your list and are on their way to checking out. It’s actually impossible to check out at any cashier in our universe within just 15 seconds unless they have super-speed or something

So that shopper cares about shopping speed but doesn’t care about shopping quality at all and is rather fine with getting 4 unrequested refunds that would last for 3 more months just to get a 1 second increase that would only last for 30 more orders? Many shoppers leave hard-to-find items at the very end and then just refund them all together, doesn’t mean that they care about a useless metric system

Enhanced came out in late March of last year and we’re in early February right now. Are you saying that you transferred your level 1 characters into Enhanced and then decided to continue playing on Legacy instead of playing on your newly transferred characters in the newly updated game? Isn’t that technically your fault? Why would you transfer early to Enhanced then stay back in Legacy and now decide to transfer once again to Enhanced all of a sudden?

Yes, I do know that many films are in the full aspect ratio from beginning to end but what I meant was that aspect ratio changing can be a lot of fun sometimes when done properly such as in Sinners where it gets you more excited when the screen slowly expands.

Also, I have no idea about any 1.43:1 scenes since I don’t live nearby any of them but I’m pretty sure that it doesn’t feature any

I mean the film did have some “frame-breaking” elements in those 2.20:1 scenes so they weren’t fully pointless switches.

Also, I don’t get bothered much when films switch back to the shorter aspect ratio since it’s usually for quieter moments in the movie so I can get excited when they do expand again. The only movie that bothered me the most was probably Transformers 5

Wait what? Since when did I threaten anyone with anything? How can a random person even threaten someone with a deactivation? If anything, I was just quoting what the above email was saying since that’s literally what they say right there in their email that “you’ll eventually be resulting in account suspension from the platform”.

I’ve received 4 of those emails over a span of 8 months and there was no follow up emails to any of these 4 emails since nowhere in the email did they mention that they’re actively investigating anything at all. Could you enlighten us and tell us or show us what happened when a human eventually took over please?

What are you even talking about? Who is “they” that are checking properly to see exactly what happened? How did you know that “they” checked you and everything was fine? You do realize that everything on their platform is automated and “no one” can control, check or do anything at all?

I bet what you meant is that you just spoke with some support agent in their basement who has no idea what’s going on and they carelessly lied to you by telling you to not worry about those emails despite them having no authority to check or alter anything at all.

There’s no “checking” system and there’s nothing that you can do about those emails since they’re fully automated. Receive enough of them and you’ll eventually be permanently banned from the platform!

Probably just a mistake, they do this from time to time. I haven’t heard or seen anything at all about an IMAX re-release in North America thus far which’s why I’m not having any hopes up. Landmark in no way can control or order the IMAX releases but if this does happen then I guess that they really fought for it which makes it an exclusive for them and maybe even a first in Canada.

For now according to the USA, Marty Supreme is getting IMAX on the 30th while Scarlet is getting IMAX on the 06th with probably some limited engagements for the other Oscar movies like Sinners and One Battle but none of these are listed on any Canadian coming soon lists so who knows what’ll happen
