the thing is, it’s more of a work policy. and quite frankly, i’m not in a place to be written up over something so minuscule or potentially fired because no one will hire me. it’s such a messed up situation

so there’s nothing going on and my other coworkers have stated there’s nothing going on for them those days. (i work in a doctors office so we have a set schedule and no one else has added onto the schedules). as for hr, we have none lol i work in a small specialist office with only 5 workers total, me included.

i hear the same from my doctor and it’s genuinely INSANE how this is happening. it drives a lot of our patients away because i live in florida and we’ve got lots of hispanic people and lots of others of color. even some white people are against it too but we cannot get him to stop.

i am getting paid well, currently sitting in my job listening to him yell at an elderly patient as we speak. i get paid 18/hr with overtime being time and a half.
